This place is simply perfect. We stayed in a huge two bedroom U Kapra apartment. This is literally the best location in the entire city of Prague for one to stay. The Old Market area is full of restaurants, shops and historical destinations. The apartments are well equipped with lots of space to live. Most importantly, especially in the summer... More

We are spending 6 days here and it is an absolutely amazing place! Top of line ultramodern kitchen for eating in, comfortable bed rooms, beautiful bathrooms, and absolute quiet after stepping inside with the throngs of people walking up Karlova Street. Would look forward to come back just for the apartment.

Stayed in the Old Town Suite again for the whole of June. It has been very hot in Europe this summer, so the aircon was much appreciated. This apartment has a great view onto Male Namesti, has everything you need for a great stay, & is a wonderful base for getting around central Prague. The decor needs a refresh, but... More

We were a family of four and this was perfect for us. It is right in the heart of Old Town. It has a lift, its own laundry and self contained kitchen, plus a deck (in our apartment). I can recommend it enough. I will definitely be staying here again, when I return!!

We booked U Kapra through Booking.com for 2 mature couples. The apartment was located right in the middle of Old Town just 2 minutes walk from the Astonomical Clock in Old Town Square. The street the apartment was situated was old and cobbled, there was a huge locked front door which magically opened when we stood outside as there are... More

The apartment we had was very spacious and the location was perfect for seeing all the sites in Prague. There was 2 bathrooms one on each floor which was very convenient. It had air conditioning, a clothes washer/dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, an elevator and good wifi. Although the apartment was spacious it could have been more comfortable for the... More

This was the first time we tried renting an apartment while on vacation. There was room for us all to spread out in and the common area was great to hang out in. We were in Karlova 48, the furniture is a unique miss of old, new, and eclectic. The agent met us when we got there to do paperwork and... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we greatly enjoyed ourselves. We had the “Romantic Apartment” which is located in the attic of the building. The apartment was amazing: very large, very quiet, comfortable bed, gabled roofs with wooden beams throughout. We found the apartment architecturally beautiful and the gabled roofs and wooden beams added much charm.... More

The apartment we stayed was beautiful, spacious, clean and in the heart of the old town. It is very convenient to everything- food, restaurants, attractions, and the apartment is quiet with free wifi. Cafes, coffee shops, minimarket, bank, restaurants etc.. right outside the door ! It is not a hotel but there is 24 hour desk coverage for check in... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
