Stayed with 2 teens and hubby. Location was a dream . We orgaised driver to pick us up from the airport as we were flying in a midnight. So glad that we did. He was wonderful and made us feel safe and walked us through the cobble streets and into our dream holiday location. The 2 bedroom is really 3... More

This was my second stay at U Kapra, this time in a 1 bedroom apartment. It is still one of my all time favourite places to stay. The apartment is huge. Very old world with exposed beams, huge rooms, separate bedroom, kitchen, lounge, bathroom/laundry and entry. It truly is a whole apartment and just oozes charm. Everything has been thought... More

Stayed in a 2-bedroom Deluxe apartment over the weekend with my partner, mother and family friend. We were visiting Prague to see the Christmas markets and the apartment couldn't have been in a better loation. My partner and I had been to Prague before so knew where we were going but even for first time visitors, it's brilliant. We had... More

Having just finished my short break in Prague with my partner I must say we were really happy with the overall experience of the apartment. As I stated in the title, I think we'd struggle to find a place more central to the sites we came to see. What you get for the price tag is reasonable, although there are... More

After arriving in Prague, we headed straight for the apartment to freshen up and decide what to do for the rest of the afternoon. Google maps took us to karlova street, being where the apartment is. However it took us a couple of trips around the block, 3 phone calls and a visit to the local tourist board to actually... More

we were 3 couples so we booked the 3 bedroom superior apartment. These apartments are in a perfect location to see everything. It's on the 1st floor of the block and has 2 very large bedrooms and one smaller bedroom which has an ensure. There's another seperate bathroom and seperate toilet, perfect for couples or families. It was lovely and... More

We rented to Sunlit apartment, and after struggling a bit to find the door (very small signage), we were pleasantly surprised by the apartment. Two floors, with an upstairs balcony looking over the rooftops of Prague. Since the apartment is an inner courtyard, the noise of Old Town is completely blocked. Full kitchen, living room, sound system, washer, and two... More

This was a delightful location in which to spend 4 nights. We are 2 mature couples and everything we needed was in the 2 bedroom apartment that we rented. It was located in the centre of old town Prague just 30 to 40 metres from the famous clock and square. However, it is in a pedestrian area that meant our... More

This place is simply perfect. We stayed in a huge two bedroom U Kapra apartment. This is literally the best location in the entire city of Prague for one to stay. The Old Market area is full of restaurants, shops and historical destinations. The apartments are well equipped with lots of space to live. Most importantly, especially in the summer... More

We are spending 6 days here and it is an absolutely amazing place! Top of line ultramodern kitchen for eating in, comfortable bed rooms, beautiful bathrooms, and absolute quiet after stepping inside with the throngs of people walking up Karlova Street. Would look forward to come back just for the apartment.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
