We stayed at Best Western Premier Royal palace Prague for 7 nights between April and May this year. The location of the hotel at Malá Strana is very advantageous, being walking distance from the Prague castle, the beautiful Mala Strana quarters, Charles Bridge and all the major highlights. The hotel has a beautiful exterior facade and though the Superior room... More

A excellent hotel with fantastic service. The hotel is located with a walking distance from a Prague Castle and Charles Bridge and we could see the the beautifull Prague Castle from our window !!At the arrival we were nicely welcomed, we also got a presentation of Prague's communications, attractions and recommendations of restaurants. The breakfast was really nice with a... More

congratulations to all the staff! Fantastic service. Every aspect of our 4 night stay was perfect. A couple of things out of the control of the management. One is the cost of parking. Out the front of the hotel and monitored but €30 a day is a little high. Also the room was quite small. These things however were minor... More

The hotel has a staff that really makes you welcome when you arrive at the hotel, and they certainly makes your stay there as a dream come true. I arrived the hotel together with 9 of my friends. Although we where quite unstructured group of people the staff continued to make us fees special and they never lost their smile.... More

All the staff were helpful and service was generally excellent. Rooms are very warm but at least the windows open and the heating pump/cooling fan can be switched off again when it comes on automatically in the night. Excellent water pressure and shower. Very convenient for the 'other' side of the Charles Bridge, walking up to the Castle etcetera.

The Hotel Royal Palace is a great place to stay. Comfortable room, great breakfast, good location in the midst of the city. We had a room with a view of the royal palace on the hill across from us. Parking is extremely expensive, however the desk clerk alerted us to a public parking garage a short walk across the river.... More

Could not think of a better location. Extremely helpfull staff, clean rooms, small but looking brand new clean wellness / spa. Only problem was the breakfast, first time it happened to me there were nom free seats / tables, the restaurant is very small. Also, to make sure you get a full selection of food you have to be there... More

Very good hotel with a staff that offered much more service than I have met in other hotels. They helped us to find strange shops and printed maps with exact information where to find it. I hope I will come back sometimes.

The hotel looks quite gloomy from the outside and in places feels as though it could benefit from some touching up. However, on the whole it does its job well: PLUS POINTS - Excellent location close to Wenceslaus Square - Good black out in bedrooms - Large comfy beds - Smart bar - Reasonable speed (3 Mbps) free wifi in... Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
