Forget the Mark, intercon,Buddha etc.The only place for service in Prague is the Augustine, got to mention Petr,Katerina and indeed Honza, who all went out of their way to provide what we needed. Will soooooooooooooooo be back. Highly recommennded.

We invited the family to Prague in the summer and stayed at the Augustine, a 5 star hotel with excellent location just around Charles bridge and excellent service ( the concierges Marlek, Martin and Jan were there to satisfy our needs; I needed to reserve some train tickets and they went out of their way to even pick the tickets... Beautiful boutique hotel and perfect location to walk to many key sites. Everything was first rate and exquisite. Spa area excellent and great services with reasonable prices. We really enjoyed the food as well..lunch and dinner options very good. The one exception is breakfast--the buffet was adequate but the service in the morning a bit clumsy. Would definitely return.

We chose this hotel from TripAdvisor reviews and couldn't have been happier! All of the staff members were friendly and helpful, and we were treated like royalty the entire time we were there. We particularly liked the car service to and from the airport for the same price we'd have paid for a taxi. The hotel is a former monastery... More

This hotel is extremely nice - solid elegance, calm, perfect and pleasant service and very good location. The best hotel I have stayed in - and I have stayed in many all over the world. The breakfast in the outdoor garden is magnificient, and the beer in the bar is extraordinary.

I just got back staying here for 6 nights and it was a great experience. The rooms were a very generous size and very well done. The breakfast was amazing and had such a wide selection. You never felt like you had to order the same thing twice. The concierge was very helpful with planning a day trip out of... More

Definitely, one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Loved the old world charm. Definitely hope to return and would not stay anywhere else in Prague. The breakfasts were quite nice. Took this trip last year 2014. Writing now because I just joined trip advisor and could not let the opportunity to rave about this place go by. LOVE,... More

Even though we live in the city, we were treated to a luxurious weekend stay at the Augustine and we left with a smile on our faces! The service was brilliant and the staff were always willing to help - the receptionist Marketa even gave us a guided tour of the hotel as it's got a great history. The location... More

This is such a beautiful hotel in Prague. It is located in the city center but in a quiet little street. I stayed in a suite and it was huge! A very beautiful and big bathroom(only downside my bathroom didn't have a seperate shower) The hotel is build in an old monestary where they still brew local beer! You have... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
