I am very happy that I chose Sheraton for my stay in Prague. It is located in a spot in the Prague city that is away from the hustle and bustle of the down town, yet very near and with excellent connections to just anything you would like to visit in Prague. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere and... More

Normal Sheraton standard of hotel, with Club Lounge, Bar, Gym, Spa, but sadly no swimming pool so can't rate it as Very Good. It seems to be a relatively small hotel rather than the often expected grand-sized Sheratons. Rooms were a good size, with a slightly noisy air-con that seemed to have a mind of its own no matter what... More

This hotel is quite cozy with all you need. If u don't wanna stay in a huge castle or modern style hotel in a relatively old city, prague. And not just b&b .... Maybe a little bit better. Then this Sheraton could be your choice. The location is at the edge of city center. Just 20mins walk from the hotel.... More

The hotel was well kept and junior suite itself was really nice but the location was depressing. That area of town looked like a dump and abandoned. There's a closed down strip club right beside the hotel and nothing else around, minimum of 10 minutes cab ride to reach anything worth visiting. Definitely not coming back to this hotel because... Some reviewers comment about how this hotel is not near the main attractions of Prague, but it's really no more than a 5 minute walk from Wenceslas Square. My room was very pleasant, and quiet. Nicely equipped gym and very helpful and friendly staff made this a thoroughly pleasant stay.

Stayed on business - first trip to Prague for a long while and it's changed a lot. First thing to say is that the hotel location is not in the uber-tourist "Old Town" so for tourism you'll need to figure out the trams or be prepared to walk. The plus side of this is that the bars and restaurants in... More

We went there on a vacation. The location is not very close to the center of the city. It is about thirty minutes walk to main square. The rooms and the bathrooms need upgrading. The area is rough at night

Dear NotsohappyDenver, Thank you for taking the time to share your review following your stay with us. I was disappointed to hear your stay was just OK. We are indeed located 15mn walk from the main attraction of the old town and just a 5mn walk from Wenceslas Square, the main shopping street with easy access to Metro and Tram... More

This hotel was beautiful, clean, well decorated with fantastic polite efficient, attentive staff. The food was beautiful as well. We managed to trip the fuse box by spilling coffee over the coffee machine, the maintenance man arrived within 3 minutes, then in less than 10 minutes we had a new coffee machine and lights fixed. We were in need of... More

Had a lovely stay at the Sheraton. Three nights in a really nice room (414), with a balcony. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially Gilles the concierge who gave us plenty of advice on where to go and what to see. Breakfast was superb and can also recommend the cocktails and club sandwich at the hotel bar. Would definitely book... More

The Sheraton in Prague was a breath of fresh air in luxury accommodations in Europe. The hotel has all the amenities you would expect. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The club lounge staff was very attentive and professional. The location makes it easy to walk into town, or take public transport.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
