We stayed here in May for 4 nights and was shocked at the poor state of the apartment and lack of facilities in the kitchen. There were only four towels provided which were not changed during our stay. We were told to either pick fresh ones up at their reception which is 2km from the apartment or pay €15 to... More

Stayed here with my family including 2 boys aged 9 and 10. The apartments are small and a bit old but clean. The location was excellent as we walked wherever we wanted to go. We also felt safe walking around the area late at night as we watched the fireworks at midnight on new years eve.

Appartement is nicely situated in old building; public transport within 5 min walking distance. Transfer with keys appartment was flawless. Beds 5+, small supermarkt at 25 meter and several bars and restaurants closeby.

Very nice apartmnet in the city center. There is enough space, the kitchen is well equiped. You can find almost everything you need - hairdryer, iron and ironing boadrd, kitchen stuff and even electric radiator in the bathroom that was very usefull for us. Also supermarket is available at the walking distance. And remember that you should take your key... More

We booked the 1 bedroom apartment for 4 people. The apartment was very spacious and clean, even though it is in an older apartment. The bathroom is off the only bedroom which is a little inconvenient, but there is a second toilet off the lounge which was good. The location is fantastic and was the best thing about this apartment.... More

We didn't even have the pleasure of actually seeing the rooms! Arrived on the steps of the apartments unbeknown to us that we had to collect keys from half way across the city! If it hadn't been for our driver, we would not have known what to do as we can't speak czech! The driver rang the number I had... More

Just got back from three nights in Prague. I was staying at the Optacovicka 2 apartments. The flat was a nice and on the fifth floor. Not much of a view, but nice all the same. That said, I have some significant qualms: 1) This agency requires you to pick up keys at their office, a fact that I failed... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
