Great location of the hotel, supermarket just 100m away. The bathrooms were brand-new, the room itself huuuge. The breakfast has changed a bit every second day, so we didn't have to eat the same food every morning. Very helpful staff, they have bought the post stamps and sent the postcards for us as we didn't find the post office.

Stayed at Hotel Christie in April. Best about this hotel is its' location - easy and short walk away from the streets of the old town (10-15 min). Room was also nice and clean! Comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean too and shower had a good water pressure. However, room was quite hot and air condition was not that efficient so... More

Stayed here with friends, the price was good at 55 Euros. The reception is nice and the service was very good and she was very friendly at check in. The elevators are a little cramped, but not a big deal. The room was adequate, wasn't crazy about the colours, the tv was super small but it had a mini bar,... More

This hotel is in a good location in Prague. We walked pretty much everywhere (except for the airport!) but there is a metro station nearby and plenty of trams running around. All of these are within 5 minutes walking. There is a Tesco close and many shops. It is rated as a 4 star hotel. I would give it a... More

great hotel for the money, in the centre of the city. The staff spoke great English which always helps us lazy Brits. My only slight issue is they do not have an iron or ironing board in the hotel, which is always a bug bear of mine. Everybody with their clothes in a case, therefore everybody needs an iron. Apart... I had a 3 night stay here at the beginning of December with my sister so we could visit the Christmas markets. We had booked a twin room but on arrival we were shown to a double, as soon as we mentioned this a call was made from the room by the porter and we were allocated another room, which... More

I've stayed at Christie Hotel for my vacation. The hotel is 5 mns away by walk from the old town center. Our room was located on the 5th floor and the heating system wasn't working properly and we ended up sleeping in a cold room whole night. Next morning I went downstairs and complained about it, then I realized we... More

Excellent central location, 10 mins walk to old town, 15 mins to Charles bridge. Room was really comfortable with a modern bathroom. The breakfast had extensive choice with a hot and cold buffet. The building site adjacent might have put some off, but starting at 7.30am is time for getting up to explore!

On our fifth trip to Prague, we wanted to try to stay in the hustle and bustle of down town. Despite the fact that Hotel Christie presently is next to a building site, it is in a quiet area, and literally next to everything you would want to see and/or do in Prague. Our handicap-room was huge, and came with... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Christie is comfortably located in the historic town centre of Prague, just a few steps from the famous Wenceslas Square, in one of the most attractive localities in tourist and business centre of Prague. The Old Town spreads out on one side with its narrow little streets, copious amounts of architectural monuments, churches, enchanting corners and romantic restaurants. These are dominated by the world known historical pieces such as the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square or the National Theatre. If you set out in the opposite direction, you will find the New Town nesting countless shops, cinemas, theatres and other places providing opportunities for entertainment and cultural experiences. Hotel Christie was created with sensitive renovation of the former “Měšťanská beseda,” which served as a meaningful institution for the citizens and social life of Prague in the years 1870 – 1939. Today, this building is not only to serve as an exceptional spot for comfortable accommodation but also for holding conferences and seminars, offering traditional style and modern comfort. ... more   less
