This hotel lives up to all expectations from earlier reviews. Seems new or recently renovated, with high quality. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and efficient staff. Good location with a lot of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, and only 5-10 minutes walk to city centre. Or close to underground/tram. Great value.

I highly recommend this newly renovated 4-star hotel located in New Town on a small street Balbinova, about five minutes walk to the National museum or the railway station. The prices are really affordable from €45 for a double room, breakfast and free wifi internet connection in all its facilities included. The old charm from the Jugend style building is... More

Nice hotel with clean rooms and a breakfast buffet that allows you to vary your breakfasts just enough. The staff is polite and helpful, but not always very good in English. But they really make an effort to understand you. You will get a very nice value for money here, as the service is better than expected for this price... More

This was one of the best hotels that I have visited. The entire hotel had been recently renovated but kept the charm and elegance of an old hotel. I stayed in a corner room; it was large, comfortable and very charming. The bathroom was really beautiful and spacious. The food choices at breakfast were first rate. Additionally, it was just... My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days after we had an issue with a hostel we reserved. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, great location to city center and great value for money. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. Because of our issue with the previous hostel we got to talk to the manager... More

My friend and I arrived at this hotel from 08 October to 24 October 2014. In Prague, I was already more than once. But this hotel has left the best memories. I loved the decor in the room and in the hotel itself. Housekeeping every day and all that is necessary: from booking train tickets to recharge for mobile phone,... More

Pretty good overall. Let down a bit by the lighting in the room, bedside lamp lead too short and others wrongly located for the mirrors. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Only a short walk from wenches square Jc

Stayed at the Hotel Arkada which which is close to to Museum and about 15 minute walk to Old Town. The price was very reasonable and the price was great. It's about a 5 minute walk to the Metro and there are many good resturants in the area. What I liked about the hotel is the reception. They are very... More

The location of the hotel is extremely useful in regards to visiting the many sites of Prague. I have to give kudos to the staff which have been extremely nice and helpful with every request or question. Pros: location and staff Cons: air conditioning only on the sixth floor.

As many of the other reviewers have said before, the people who work at this hotel are its best asset, you could ask ANYTHING at the reception and everyone just did their very best to help you whatever the problem was. There is absolutely nothing bad to be said about the hotel itself also, the room was clean and big... More

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
