We stayed here for 3 nights during our group tour of Prague, Budapest and Vienna in June and enjoyed this traditional hotel which, although not central, is within easy walking distance of the Main Square. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. Our room, 716, in the new part of the hotel, was the best appointed and most comfortable... More

The hotel is ideally located in the center of the city. If you would like to go back in time this hotel is perfect. The atmosphere is like we are still in the 80's. But the room are well equipped and I was on the last floor with a breathtaking view on the city roof top. Just need to be... More

Perfect location. Good room. Good breakfst, both earlier 7:00 and later after 9:00 easy walk into town, handy local restaurants and mini markets some 24hr. Handy for the bottled water we needed in the heat outside. Fortunately AC worked well in the room. Our opinion, if we return to Prague we would probably stay here again.

We stayed here with Newmarket Travel, and this was by far the best hotel of our tour. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful. The breakfast was good with a great choice. The hotel situation is very near (10-15 mins walk) to the main attractions of Prague, but also has some great restaurants / bars very... More

Excellent location & a very good quality hotel which looks as though it has been updated recently. The room & bathroom were both a good size & very clean. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice & would certainly stay here again.

I was staying at EA embassy for 4 nights. It is well situated (10-15 min from the old town) I was happy about that. However, the service is not good. I was surprise that no one at the front desk speeks english. We had a hard time understanding each other. Also, there is no wifi in certain rooms. I know... More

Dear Mrs. AudreyS S, I´d like to thank you for your review, although I have to oppose. Our reception staff speaks very good English, as are proving every day and I´m also pretty sure that our restaurant staff adds buffet table untill ends of the breakfast. I´m very sorry with your problems with WIFI,which may be caused by network congestion.... More

For the most part I loved this hotel. The room we had was great with a nice view of the church. Bathroom was big, beds comfortable and the wine they left on the table (red wine) was free. The breakfast was decent, though I would have loved a few more vegetarian options in the hot food (like some potatoes would... More

A hotel located within walking distance of the sights in the historic center of Prague, yet not in the midst of the fray. The rooms are decent sized, with a variety of sizes and shapes due to the hotel being configured from a few buildings. The bathrooms are a good size, but the tubs are a bit tall and slippery... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
