Me & my Dad stayed here for one night after driving up from Bratislava. First things first... DO NOT DRIVE HERE!!! Karlovy Vary is an absolute nightmare to drive around. It took us a good while to actually locate the hotel! Eventually I parked up and found it on foot. When I asked the guy at reception how to get... More

Had great experience in Heluan Hotel. Room was wonderful - retro Art Nouveau interior with wooden floors and furniture, clean with very friendly service. Breakfast - basic with home made pastry and jams. Location - you can not wish for better. Hotel was offering nice discounts for the SPA around, including Elizabeth SPA and several wellness. WIFI was very fast... More

Dear Julia, thank you very much for your review. I´m really glad that stay in hotel Heluan met your expectations and you enjoyed Karlovy Vary. You are right, Karlovy Vary is not the place to watch TV in hotel room, however all rooms are already equipped with LCD TV for better comfort. Yours faithfully Jan Petrus Sales Manager More

I stayed with my wife in April for a one-night break in Karlovy Vary. I choose this hotel from the wide selection on offer in KV as the rooms looked and were more spacious. From this aspect the hotel didn't disappoint. While not a luxury hotel, the service was friendly and helpful. The room we had was perfect, very comfortable... More

My experience in Heluan was really nice, all the hotel staff was friendly and helped me to choose the better way to spend my time to Karlovy Vary. The room was very big, confortable and bright. Heluan is in the heart of old town, in front at the old spa castle where you can get mineral spring cure and procedure.... More

Heluan is really what it promises - classic Karlovy Vary hotel. May be a bit old - but if you know what you are looking for (seeking for the classics, not modern amenities), you get what you want. Rooms are big, quite and very comfortable. It is warm in winter there, Breakfast is no-nonsense, staff is helpful, just a bit... More

The woman at the front desk is Brunhildaish, loud, rude and scary. I was told this was a four star, this is a bad joke. Maybe a 2 star. I had to move myself, no services, no restaurant, one nice housekeeper. Breakfast ordinary nothing special, location good but so are a lot of others. No restaurant, mosquitos in my room,... More

After a mix up with the bookings - they had us down for the wrong day - and a bit of stumbling with the language barrier, everything got sorted out and we had a very enjoyable stay. The room was big and comfortable, almost an apartment really, and the hotel is well located in the heart of the old town.... More

Beautiful small hotel, right in the centre of the spa area of Karlovy Vary. The room which was huge and tastefully furnished had one of the best views I've ever had from an hotel room and even a balcony. The welcome though in limited english (fair enough for a town in the Czech republic whose vast majority of foreign visitors... More

finding the Heluan from the bus station, the back "hill" way with a minimal map, was rather frustating, particularly as it was a bit wet at the time. The front desk woman spoke German rather than English, so we spoke largely in French. Fortunately there was a lift, despite old building so I did not have to struggle up the... More
