This person should never be in customer service ever again! Ondrej was incapable of finding an ounce of hospitality. Hotel is not worth a stay. This place is stuck in a distasteful 70's theme. Ondrej Should be Fired.

The pool is open to the public, in fact the main entrance is not through the hotel but about 250m up the hillside. There is a way through for hotel guests as well. Definitely an experience with distinct throw back to the 1970s when the complex was opened. The water is crystal clear and made up 1/3 of the local... More

I have never stayed at this hotel, but use the pool every time I visit. It can be accessed by non-guests at a small fee. The heated pool overlooks the town and is really relaxing after a long day walking.

- Hotel looks like come from 80s, but renovated room (Comfort) was not bad. I took the room with city view and balcony was good. - The inside pool was tiny but enough to have swimming, but the temperature was too cold. - The outside pool was closed, thus I have nothing to say. - Breakfast was in a big... That was like someone put you in a time machine and sent you back to old Soviet Union. I would never believe that you can encounter something as bad as this hotel within EU. Front desk is a definition of carelessness.....rooms are outdated and old.....restaurant is just plain horrible.....breakfast buffet is good only if you want to lose weight because... More

Pros - Location is very good, close to everything, and which is the most important to the mineral water springs. We stayed on 5-th floor - very good room, with balcony and city view. Room is a good size, clean and renovated. Cons - matresses on beds are horrible, so hard that all my bones and joints hurt after each... More

We had a room on the twelfth floor with magnificent views out over the Town. Very clean, hard beds, great balcony , quiet even though the Film Festival was in full swing. Excellent buffet breakfast, comfortable friendly bar, helpful reception, if a little stern. There is a Spa downstaira with a multitude of treatments, I had a massage which was... More

Excellent location (very central location but easy parking), "comfort" rooms are clean and renovated, check-in ok (complicated questionnaire to fill in but staff was friendly), bed quality could be improved, long waiting time for an elevator is funny (unless you are in a hurry), wifi for extra charge, breakfast is not good (considering the price we paid). Pricing very much... More

An average hotel, with great spa facilities and a good restaurant, Hotel Thermal is a very good choice when staying in Karlovy Vary. The swimming-pool is located outside, in open air. This doesn't mean you can't use it if it's cold outside or it's raining... the water is around 29.5 degrees Celsius (~85 Fahrenheit) so the weather won't bother you!... More

This hotel is well known as the place to lose weight and get well. The rooms are average but considering the price you pay they are okay. The hotel offers variety of treatments for men and women of all ages as part of the room rate. Those who want to lose weight should consider this coming to this hotel, which... More
