Super location, right in the centre of Karlovy Vary, overlooking the main spa colonnade. Very friendly reception staff - particularly Matina, who spoke excellent English and couldn't have been more charming or helpful. From 2009, we have changed our payment conditions. We convert the rates from one currency to another according to the daily currency rate of the Czech National bank. When contacted directly, the nice lady at the reception gave us a price in euros (98) for a double room. There is a new management stuff from 2008 that has put into practise a lot of improvements including a new system of the currency conversion. The currency is converted according to the daily currency rate from 1.1.2009.
This hotel is advertised as a 4-star establishment, which it is not. There is hardly a lobby, a single, caged elevator has to serve all four floors, and the hallways are clean but drab.
