Stayed there for 3 nights. Very good location, right across the railway station, walking distance from the city centre. Rich breakfast, very good. But rooms are small, windows have not been cleaned for years. Wifi connection not sufficient, especially on higher floors.

Needs renovation asap. They gave us a room on the 10th floor. cons: lack of plugs (we were 3 persons in a triple bed room) so we had a problem with charging our phones and batteries. No ceiling lamp at all, there was only one floor lamp and one desk light so we had to unplug them. The room was... More

Only stayed for 1 night, staff very helpful, good position by the main rail station, only down side is it was overdue for refurbishment. Breakfast was fine and it was certainly value for money, therefore would stay again.

I'm traveling to this hotel since 2009. First experience was absolutely harrowing. Due the years has been the hotel renovated and upgraded to the present form. The hotel is situated next to the train and bus station therefore is easy to get in there. Rooms are clean and equiped, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Nothing bad about this... More

This place looks tired both from the outside being a Communist era block some 10 or so floors high. Its main benefit is its bang opposite the main rail station. The faded flags above the main entrance door again looked in need of replacement. Reception area again looked 20 years outdated. A very friendly receptionist took care of the check-in.... More

I stayed many times in the hotel while studying my university in Hradec Kralove. Concerning to the age of the hotel the clients should work out a little bit with some disadvantages as the isolation of windows sometimes is not done and during the winter it could be a little problem... or when its windy... But anyway the hotel is... More

Had I read the reviews on TA I would have avoided like the plague, as it is I found the hotel by chance. From the outside I was a little apprehensive due to the windows looking rather dirty/steamed up glazing? Decided to go in and take a look, first impressions of reception bar area were good. Asked the receptionist for... More

This hotel was awful. I am currently in dispute with expedia for selling me this hotel as it is infact inhabitable. I am unsure where to begin in describe the hotel. The front entrance and resturant areas are passable with little to complain of. However a ride up in the 1920's elevator to the rooms and my heart promptly sunk.... More

From the moment I arrived at the hotel I knew I had made a mistake. From the outside the hotel looked old and run-down and my expectations were low...but I was still dis-appointed with how bad the rooms actually were. The 'mattress' consisted of a 1inch foam and the'duvet' a piece of polyester insie a cotton cover. The curtains only... More
