The restaurant has a great location. You'll love to sit there in the winter or in the cold weather cause there is a huge open fire place. There're also very friendly waiters they smile, talk with you... to this point everything is alright. But if you order some dish... It doesn't taste very well. A few of salt, pepper... Pasta... More

Great home cooked traditional food. Be careful what you order as the portions are very large! The roast pork knee is a must have with juicy meat and crackling skin. My son had the roast duck as well which was like the french confit de canard (less farty though). The local Eggenber dark beer was a treat (smooth and caramely).... More

We came across this place one night searching for somewhere nice and reasonably priced for dinner. They have a nice area out the back and there was one big group of women and a few other smaller tables that were occupied. The wait staff were very attentive to begin with but we sensed that something wasn't quite right when the... More

I stayed bere with my girlfriend in January 2012 on the from Prague to Germany. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms and it was very cosy, very big and a nice mix of old and new features. This building is one of the oldest in town (the guided tours stop outside the door for a few mins... More

I have nothing to complain about with this comfy, authentic inn - situated right near the main square in CK. I loved my room, it seemed charmingly traditional - yet I had no problems with, for example, getting hot water. There was plenty! The included breakfast was great, with the usual cereal, yogurts, cheese, bread etc and they also made... More

The hotel is very pleasant, especially if you get either of the very spacious rooms on the top floor. Great breakfast in the sunny courtyard. Travellers need to be aware that there is no parking within Cesky Krumlov, so you have to park outside the town in the public parks (at 35 kc per hour) and either drag all your... More

Spent here 3 nights without almost no comment except the double-bed, not very usefull for a romantic ehm ... But thats it. Very nice staff, sunny morning breakfast in the Yard, cold evening dinner right next to the fire-place. It takes You like 3 minutes to get under the castle with fantastic view, 5-10 minutes to the castle itself. From... More

We were there one night only, but we were very satisfy with the room. The room is clean, only the view from the apartment (room 6) is not good (only the roofs of the near houses - but it is caused by the hotel location - nothing tragic). At night we heard a little music from the disco (it is... More

Stopped here for lunch upon arrival in Cesky Krumlov... There were a few guests in the restaurant but not much staff. We ordered soup (goulash) in bread bowl and a traditional czech meal. The bread was hard as a rock and cold. The soup (unlike some of the great goulash we ate in Prague) was brown water with a few... More

Spent two nights here in mid December - spent a long time researching which hotel to stay in and I'm glad we chose this one. The hotel is within a minute if the old square and within 5-10 minutes of everything else Cesky Krumlov has to offer. A great location and a real gem of a building. A large open... More
