My apprehension were all wiped out when I arrived at this place, it was simply beautiful. Clean, spacious, warm and friendly service. The spacious bedroom....the kitchen , the bathroom and with a sauna inside, separate toilet...such enormous space. The only regret that I have was I did not have enough time to enjoy the sauna, I will come back and... More

This pension was an excellent choice to stay! The room was very comfortable and stylish! We found the staff very kind and helpful. It is just a nice walk to get into the heart of the town from the pension. Only the breakfast was poor a bit. I can just hardly recommend this charming house for a perfect vacation!

It's really a magic place no matter it is summer or winter. The staff treats you like family and you really believe, they are glad to see you again. The room was cozy in the summer but when it's cold outside it is even more comfortable. Floor heating in the bathroom is just fabulous. You can setup the temperature separately... More

Although a wee bit difficult to find, even with GPS, it was definitely worth the effort. Pension Athanor is a quality small hotel with several apartments. My family stayed in one on the ground floor . . . it was very spacious and finished beautifully . . . extremely impressive. Breakfast was fine, but I suggest the hotel offer a... More

We stayed here for two nights in late October 2013 in a double bedroom in the attic. When we arrived, the doors were locked. We rang the doorbell, and a lovely lady answered. She took us up to the room and gave us a tour. Once we dropped off our bags, she took us back down to reception where she... More

Our attic room pleased even my husband, despite having to stoop, just because it was so lovely! And the cellar breakfast room with the fireplace and long wooden tables is just the icing on the cake! Wonderful B&B, wonderful location, just a gem we're so pleased that we found.

Only a few steps away from the town center, the Pension Athanor was a find! The location is excellent: on a quiet street, but very close to all the sights. For the price of a moderate hotel room, we had a four-room apartment with a sitting room, amply sized bedroom, well equipped and roomy kitchen, and a spacious bath with... More

Stayed in one bedroom apartment overlooking the old town and palace. Great location in quiet corner within 5 minutes of town centre. Spacious room, with separate dining/kitchen. Very modern furnishings. Comfortable bed. Internal sauna.

The cellar also contains the private wine room held by the owners of the house, where guests can taste some samples according to up-to-date wine list. The house also has ornamental garden suitable for the rest after daylong cultural or sportive activities. Hundred years old apple tree will surely offer enough genial shade for all to relax in the tropical summer days. The guests, who are interested in gastronomy, can use their culinary skills in barbecue using the grill, which is available in the pension. Our guests can drive up directly to the house and park there free of charge. Bicycles can be saved in the hall or in the garden according to the personal convention. So welcome to our pension and fully enjoy unforgettable genius loci of Český Krumlov. Let the nostalgia of the good old days attract you. And if haply the nostalgia turns to sorrow, don´t forget to taste good Moravian wine, which exorcizes the sorrow and brings good temper.
