We (2 Person from Austria) spent last weekend (23.08.2014 - 24.08.2014) one night in the "Pension Nostalgie" (Room Nr. 2) and it satisfied all our expectations. The pension is in the heart of the centre. Even though it is very very quit there. We booked this pension because of loads of fantastic reviews and every single review is right, when... More

Others have commented on the excellent location, large and beautifully appointed rooms using (presumably) stuff from Vladimir's antiques business and this was certainly true for us. The view of the castle was oblique but delightful. Wifi worked faultlessly. The best part, though, was Vladimir's friendliness and helpfulness. I can only describe it as like staying with a friend who's at... More

I can only add to the torrent of praise for Vladimir and his mother's characterful B&B. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and recommendations and directions were freely given and much appreciated. Rooms are spacious and not at all like the anonymous hotel bedrooms one sees everywhere. This can make servicing rooms more difficult for the owners, yet everything... More

Great location, near the central of the town. Restaurant is just around the corner. The place is clean and the owner is very friendly. They have a nice small kitchen which you can have a good breakfast over there.

We are from Canada, and we stayed 6 nights because we were married in the town. Vladimir was wonderful - friendly and helpful and always with a smile. We stayed in the apartment upstairs, which has two generous rooms. As Vladimir owns an antique shop just down the road (so you can always find him!), all of the rooms are... More

This place is very well hidden but is the centre of everything. The accommodation, service and breakfast were first class with great hospitality. We were within metres of the town square and the castle. There were plenty of sights, sounds and smells to excite the senses. The Castle View room was quaint, comfortable and interesting but provided for all our... More

Pension Nostalgie is a gem of an inn, centrally located in the charming cobble streets medieval town. We stayed 2 nights in the Castle View Suite and in the Castle View room. Of the 2, Castle View Suite commands a slight view of the top of the castle, and the street below. It is very spacious with a living room... More

My wife and I sandwiched Cesky Krumlov in between Prague and Vienna. We hoped this would give us some time to regroup and recharge. Pension Nostalgia was the perfect getaway base for hiking, biking and canoeing. After a week of day-in day-out tourist/culture overload in the big city, time with nature followed by a well located, quiet, perfectly appointed pension... More

Great stay in this charming pension located right in the heart of Cesky Krumlov. Our very accomodating hosts Vladimir and his lovely mother made us feel right at home. Our large suite was filled with antiques and included a comfortable sitting room with incredible views of the castle and tower. The location on this lovely, picturesque street was surprisingly quiet... More
