I stayed in one of the four cottages, the blue no 1 and really enjoyed my stay. The room was without aircon and the fan was very slow. The location was perfect right in the middle of the beach and they have their own boat for tours which was great as you get meet some guests. The snorkeling wasn't great... More

we took their 5 day package which includes transfers, accommodation, 2 meals a day, and trips out to the islands, snorkelling, walking and underground river cruise. we were very pleased as we were a bit zonked from travelling across the Eastern Pacific by the time we got to Palawan. the lack of electricity at night meant that there was no... Summer homes is a perfect little inn to stay at in Port Barton. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can either stay in one of the four front cottages or one of the six rooms behind them. We stayed in one of the rooms in the back. The room and linens were clean. There is no AC, because... More

Remote places with interesting reviews excite me to experience with them first hand, and Port Barton is one where we stayed at Summer Homes Beach Resort. We availed of its package of accommodation and tours for my family of six for 4D/3N. However, our first night stay was aborted due to our flight being cancelled, and made it the following... More

Just coming to the end of our stay at Summer Homes here in Port Barton and cannot honestly speak highly enough of it after coming on a personal recommendation from a friend. The road into Port Barton is an interesting experience (one which requires a 4X4) and can be hair raising uncertain places. However we weren't disappointed when we got... More

They have good rooms and a very nice property fronting the beach. Lots of grass, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and plenty of space. Very nice. Eat elsewhere, however, as the restaurant is comically overpriced compared to others within a five minute walk. Be aware that there is very little to do in Port Barton, so come here with the aim of... More

We stayed one night down the way at El Dorado cottages, and experienced a skunk spraying, followed by a barking rollicking pack of dogs out in front on the beach at 3 am, so we moved 100 m down the beach to Summer homes, which was cozy. It wasn't pricey, but not bottom end either. We got a fan room... More

Summer Homes is located almost directly at the beach. There is only a small nice garden betweeen the beach and the cottages. Upfront there are 4 cottages and in the rear of the resort some rooms. We had a cottage. It was clean and spacious. Because of the low season we have been the only guest in the whole resort... More

We stayed in a beach-front bungalow. It was quite roomy (even allowing for the extra bed for our teenage son) and clean. Sadly our 2 night stay was comletely ruined by a severe rainstorm which ruined all of our plans (and trust me when I say that with a young family, when the weather is bad, there's NOTHING to do...
