Just not worth over $200/night. It was said to be "fully renovated" a few years ago but I would say "partially" renovated as the tub wall was still and ugly beige and brown tiles circa 1980). The hotel size shampoo and conditioner that were on the counter were used and only half full, the wall mounted conditioner had blue soap... More

Our family of five (kids age 11,13,16) spent three nights at White Point at the end of July. It is a stunning place. A beautiful beach, nice layout of the whole resort and cute, qaint little cottages and rooms. All staff members were veryfriednly, and there was everything we needed, wanted and expected. There is room for improvement though. The... More

We stayed at the White Point Beach Resort for a weekend Conference. There are many positives about this resort such as its location on the beach, up to date conference rooms, beautiful dining room overlooking the water, good food, and friendly and helpful staff. Oh yes, and the bunny rabbits were cute and fun! The fact that it rained all... More

Stayed here last summer for our anniversary and loved it. A bit overpriced but overall nice. Unfortunately after our experience this summer we wont be returning. There is quite a long lists of comments to be made, but will stick to the main points: The resort was quite unprepared for the forecasted hurricane. We had even called ahead to check... More

Dear Kristi L Thanks for having visited last year and for joining your friends for their wedding. Indeed, the storm caused inconveniences for many of our guests, including yourselves, as the power outage was more extensive and lengthy than anyone had anticipated. Restoration times from NS Power could not be confirmed and thus our invitation to guests to check out... More

We spent 3 nights at this resort July 10.11 and 12th. We were travelling down and lodging here for a wedding that was being held at this resort. Even though we booked months in advance we couldn't get an oceanfront cottage for our 3 night stay. We stayed in cottage 49 for 1 night then moved to cottage 23 for... More

If you enjoy being lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves, this is the place for you. A hidden treasure of a resort that you would not expect to find in the Maritimes. Outdoor and indoor pool, hot tub, games room, boathouse and private lake, surfing lessons, golf, feeding the wild bunnies - the list goes on.... More

We were so happy with our stay at White Point Beach Resort last week. Our family of four shared a room in the Lakeside Retreat section. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were nice. There was so much to do - explore the beach, kayak and paddle boat in the lake, and feed the bunnies. The food was great... More

Sounds like you had a GR8 time Annemarie R, thank you for offering your compliments and indeed there is plenty to keep the kids occupied here at White Point. We hope the rest of your stay in Nova Scotia is the perfect adventure. Look forward to welcoming you back when you are in the neighbourhood. Donna & the White Point... More

Cottage #47... Checked in and found toiler paper and other items in the toilet and hair on the towels. Bathtub looked like it was falling apart... Also the cottage smelled very strong, like after a fire, but worse... The smell was in all the bedding. We opened the windows right away to try to air out the rooms. Went for... More

Thanks Gloria G for your review. Glad you enjoyed the food but regret that your expectations for a romantic getaway fell short. We'll take a close look at Cottage #47 and review it with our team. The smoke smell is present in all cottages as a result of the fireplaces however, based on your description, it was certainly more overwhelming... More

Rooms were small, heating and AC non functional. The common lodge rooms needs it's hinges on the guest rooms oiled so the other guests don't need to be disturbed. There is over 6 speed bumps coming in from the highway, so if your vehicle is low be super careful or repairs may be required later. Air exchange equipment from the... More

Our stay at White Point Beach Resort was planned for the weekend of Hurricane Arthur. Not the best time for a stay, but the arrangements had been made for family from the US and other areas in Canada to come together at this time at White Point. We were all looking forward to spending some quality time together. We new... More

Dear Laurie J Thank you to you and your family for having chosen to stay with us for your gathering, and for having enduring 'Arthur' with us. Indeed we were without power for just over a day and know that it compromised our ability to provide full service during the outage. Our Front Desk was staffed at all times, serving... More
