The room was pleasant and clean with the only fault being the shower. It had an unusually small shower head and very low water pressure, the water also wasn't hot in the evening. Having said this it was still good value for money. The staff were all very friendly and the Inn had a very good atmosphere. They also served... More

We stayed for one night whilst on a business jaunt and thoroughly enjoyed the place. We ate in the bar, our food was good pub grub. The first floor bedroom was clean, quiet and not too hot, we both slept very well. The continental breakfast wasn't great, luckily there is a lovely artisan bakery only a few doors away which... From Haywards Heath we picked our way through the glorious English countryside of the Ouse Valley, past Ardingly reservoir, the South of England Showgrounds and into the village itself. The last time we came there were two pubs in the village. Now there is just one (the other, the Oak Inn, empty, forlorn and weed-strewn). We ordered lunch - Tom... More

Having parked in the village on previous occasions when visiting nearby Wakehurst Place, we always thought we’d like to try the Ardently Inn, but had either already eaten or lacked the time. But on returning from a visit to Sheffield Park Gardens yesterday decided this would be an ideal opportunity to give it a try. And what a lovely little... More

Sixteen of us stopped here for lunch while on a walk through the lovely Sussex countryside. The welcome was friendly and the barman dealt with our drinks order speedily and professionally. Our food order put a bit of a strain on the kitchen, so there was a wait for food, but not too long. And it was well worth waiting... More

As traders at the nearby ardingly antiques fair we used this conveniently located Inn for one night only. Double room with usual amenities, however, ceiling above bed badly stained & on using shower on evening of arrival were nearly scalded using shower! On morning of departure no hot water at all either in shower room or hand basin, no staff... More

This stay was kindly donated by the owners for a charity fund raiser. They couldn't of been more welcoming, friendly and generous. The food was fresh and delicious. The wine was very tasty! The room was very comfortable and the four poster bed was heavenly!! Highly recommend the lovely Ardingly Inn.

Stayed here for 2 nights to go to a wedding nearby. It was well located for our needs and is in a lovely village. The pub its attached to serves food and was pleasant for an evening. The staff were lovely and helpful. The room we had was small and the bathroom tiny. It was very clean and there's a... More

A few rooms located above the (busy) local pub. Although it seems work is in progress to update the place, it has seen better days. In our room the bathroom was renovated (but hot water was not really hot) but the bedroom seemed poorly maintained: cellotape on the tv, traces of leaks on the ceiling and parts coming of the... I am somewhat perplexed by your comment, some 4 MONTHS later. Why, when asked at the time did you not say anything. These are trashy comments that have no relevance. The 'sellotape' on the TV was the protective cellophane because it was a new TV. Apologies for the 'stain' on the ceiling, we are waiting for a new roof. The... More
