This has become our chosen resting hole when visiting family in Norfolk. The rooms are excellent and well fitted, we heard no noise at all from the bar below even though we had the windows open. The breakfast was superb and to our current dietary requirements. On the Saturday evening we were let down by another local restaurant who never... More

Visited this pub on Sunday 16 March 2014 for lunch - we sat in the bar area as there were 3 of us plus 2 small terriers - we had the two course lunch (at a very reasonable price) and all meals were hot and tasty with a good variety of vegetables - afterwards our terriers were spoilt with a... I am really surprised having read the reviews for this pub, I work locally to the pub, we eat there often in both work and private situations, have also had Christmas meals here. The food is always plentiful and tasty, great value for money; the pub itself always clean and welcoming, and the staff try extremely hard tobe accomodating. The... More

We called in on a busy weekend lunchtime and we had some very nice paninis, excellent real ale and nice glass of wine. Portions are large and at a reasonable price and there is a good choice of bar meals. Friendly service - will be returning.

I hade stayed here back in November last year when visiting a friend nearby. The rooms are nice and quiet despite being above a busy pub. The food is great and the beers nicely looked after. Will come back end of April. Looking forward to it.

We have stayed at the Jolly Brewers on numerous occasions when attending local events. We are always assured of a warm welcome from John and Linda and their family. Our room has been comfortable, spotless and well equipped. Breakfast is magnificent and although we have not yet found time to eat in the restaurant, the menu is varied and inexpensive.... More
