Casa Bambu was absolutely incredible! Some background, we are a family of four (boy 11 years, girl 15 years) and have stayed previously at Si Como No (Manuel Antonio) and Black Turtle Lodge and Bosque del Cabo. Our trip to Bosque del Cabo sparked our interest in returning to the area, but we really wanted to find a place where... More

We just returned from a two week stay at Casa Bambu. Our home was La Pina. What a great place to visit with young kids. Ours are aged 4-9 and there are four of them. Every morning and evening a troop of monkeys would swing by and give us a show. Big monkeys, small monkeys, loud monkeys and quiet monkeys.... More

This is a spectacular place to stay. It is right in the middle of everything we wanted--gorgeous beach, fabulous wildlife. The houses had everything we needed and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It was the perfect place to go with children as they could just run around and have a great time. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our trip of ten women to Casa Bambu was truly the trip of a lifetime. The beautioful setting, the houses that were comfortable and open (virtually tree houses) the wonderful and friendly people and so much more made it a week that I will always treasure and never forget. Lyn and Kirk are warm and welcoming and don't miss a... More

My wife and I stayed for 10 days at the end of August 2009. Firstly I have to say that Lyn the owner was fantastic all the way through the planning stage of our visit to Casa Bambu, not only did she arrange transport to and from Casa Bambu, but organised visits out Dolphin watching etc and sugggested other places... This is a perfect place to stay in one of the most beautiful places in the world. This is NOT a luxury hotel or resort. This IS a comfortable place for a family, couple, or group of friends to stay to relax and enjoy the incredible jungle and shores of Osa. We found the kitchen and facilities better than advertised,... More

wow! what an amazing place. I have never seen so much wildlife! I have never seen monkeys or macaws outside of a zoo before! We saw spider monkeys, white face capuchins and scarlet macaws everyday. They would just come hang out and eat in the trees in the front yard. The first day we saw a three toed sloth and... More

Where to start? What an incredible place! The house itself had a kind of rustic charm but still comes with all mod cons. The lifestyle: the beach right on your doorstep is beautiful and all but deserted, we often had it all to ourselves. Animals everywhere: so many monkeys, parrots, coatis, agoutis, all over the place-unbelievable! And the rainforest is... More

I have been traveling down to the Osa up to three months a year for the last ten years. I have stayed at six other resorts on the Osa and have never felt more comfortable or at home as I did staying at Casa Bambu. It was very clean, well maintained, and the care takers could not have been more... More

If you truly want to unplug, if you truly want to spend time with your family and reconnect, and if you truly want to live an amazing adventure, then Casa Linda (next door to Casa Bambu) is the place for you. Sitting just 60 yards from the ocean with the rainforest in your backyard this house provided our family with... More
