My friends and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Casa Linda & Casa Bambu in late May and early June. The custom-designed homes were approximately 50 paces away from an excellent surfing site but yet under the canopy of the jungle giving us daily visits by various monkey groups and affording a view of the beautiful scarlet macaws in flight.... We just returned from Costa Rica and another incredibly wonderful stay at Casa Bambu. This time we brought our daughter, son in law and granddaughter. We stayed for the first time in Casa Linda, and for a group of five it was perfect. The weather (the rainy season) was wonderful with a few showers and one big rainstorm that did... More

My second trip to Casa Bambu *June 2015) was just a great as the first one May 2005). The casa is steps from the water and waves lull you all night long. Take a kayak out into the Golfo Dulce and you'll see so many turtles and dolphin too. The hammock on the porch at Casa Linda is a great... More

We visited the Osa for a wedding and a large group of our friends rented out all four Casa Bambu Houses (including Sonrisa, Pina, Linda and Bambu). My group stayed in Sonrisa, but we spent time in all of them. They are all very similar, and all great. We were able to sync up on the same radio channel too... More

I had been to the Osa once before but this trip was even better than last time. Casa Bambu, Casa Linda, Casa Pina and Casa Sonrisa were all rented out by our friends. This is the perfect group vacation area. The beaches are steps away and the houses take full advantage of the environment. Lynn helped me set up the... More

For me the best: amazing wildlife, beautiful beach and country, breezy lovely houses Less good: no noise privacy AT ALL, uncomfortable beds and lousy pillows-bring your own if you are particular (the kids didn’t care). Also we were a little thick headed. There is absolutely no store of any kind anywhere nearby. You have to either go back to Puerto... More

Thanks for taking the time to write this thorough review. We are glad that overall you enjoyed your visit with us. There are a couple of points we would like to respond to and clarify. 1. It is accurate that the nearest grocery stores are in Puerto Jimenez, about 30 – 40 minutes away. This is clearly stated on the... More

We had six adults and seven kids ages 12-16 in Casa Linda and Casa Bambu for an amazing week . This is not club med, so if you're looking for fancy then go elsewhere . But if you're willing to rough it a bit then you will be rewarded. I loved: Waking up to the howlers and the surf to... More

Our family of eight had a wonderful stay at Casa Linda in July. It's a true off-the-grid eco lodge, but is so comfortable and well-equipped that you really get the best of both worlds. Beds were comfy and clean and the kitchen has everything you need for a gourmet meal. The solar fridge is large and keeps everything cool. We... More

We came 9 years ago and this trip was just as spectacular. The owners of this beach house are extremely helpful and helped arrange everything we needed. The property manager William took my husband surf fishing and us on a guided hike in Corcovado natl park. His wife Leda is an amazing cook and came to the house to prepare... More

This was my third visit. Took my brother down for 8 nights and it was fantastic as always. We cooked in for most meals but defiantly took advantage of the offerings at Martina’s, Lapa Rios, and Encanta. We could see all four types of monkeys from the porch, lapas, turtals in the water almost every day, Etc. The whole week... More
