Stayed here with my husband for the last leg if our 10 day trip. We were here for 3 days and it was wonderful!!! Staff were friendly and inviting going beyond just providing info and answering questions. The food was delicious and the room (tree house #2) was delightful with a great view and balcony. We couldn't have asked for... More

Friendliest, kindest staff I've ever encountered, especially Kate the manager. And she's a terrific massage therapist as well! Food is terrific and healthy and the bar was fun too. Large, clean rooms and the wildlife is enchanting. Warning: some folks did not like the howler monkeys talking through the night but I loved that. They will set you up with... More

From the moment you walk in everything is perfect. We had stayed at two other places while in Costa Rica. This place was completely different and special. You were off the grid and it was an all inclusive hotel. The meals were unbelievably good. Each one was delicious and filling. It was served family style which was very nice because... More

Hard to say enough nice things about this place. This was my second stay and I hippie I don't wait another 5 years to go back. A little off the beaten path... okay a lot of that said path. Road is a little rough but offers great adventure to get there. Rooms are quaint but you only need them to... More

Encatalavida what I loved: amazing three meals a day, fresh, creative and perfectly local.  The chef for our group of (mostly) vegetarian yoga Colorado crowd, Sarah Jane did great food and attended to special requests as just as well. The tuna one night was caught by Brian & David just days before and we raved about it.  Coconuts were harvested... More

Old friends get together for an annual surf trip. This trip to Encanta La Vida was the best experience for us ever. The facilities are outstanding. The staff is top notch and very knowledgeable of the surroundings and surf breaks. The point breaks are world class, but as you go farther into the golfo, the breaks get easier, surf for... More

My first trip to the Encanta la Vida was in May 2013 and I just visited again in April this year. It's stunning in its natural beauty being gracefully tucked into the rain forest of the Osa Peninsula. At first light I woke up to the sounds of the forest coming alive which includes Howler monkeys and a beautiful chorus... More

I stayed here for a last few nights of a 12 day trip. I was in the honeymoon suite which was stunning with an amazing shower that was screened in all around so it felt like showering in the middle of the jungle. The property is set in the middle of the forest with amazing wildlife but with decent wifi... More

We stayed at a private home nearby, but had two lovely evening meals, one with Bryan, at Encanta La Vida. Food was delisch, servings perfect, company very hospitable. Can't wait to return to the Osa - thank you Encanta for sustaining the natural integrity of Costa Rica

I had such an amazing experience at Encanta La Vida. I traveled here for one week as apart of a yoga retreat and was incredibly sad to have to leave. We were shown to our room; Deluxe 1 by the ever sweet Terry. I was amazed by how big and spacious the room was, not too mention my bed was... More
