There were 15 of us staying before chartering a couple of yachts, and we all agreed that the hotel was an unexpected pleasure. The staff attentive both at the hotel and the restaurants. Relaxed and well appointed, right on a private beach. Perfect place to spend some quiet time.

We stayed at theTamarind Beach for 7 nights in a ground floor beach front suite on a full board basis. The suite was huge and probably the best room we have ever stayed in at any hotel in the Carribean (and we have been to quite a few). There is a very large deck outside the room from which access... Canouan is a small island in the Grenadines. Its perfect if you want a totally relaxed break. Its easy to get a boat out to the Tobago Cays for diving and snorkelling but other than that there is nothing to do, meaning you don't feel guilty about lounging on the sun beds! The rooms are lovely, right on the beach... More

Stayed here for a week and had a lovely quiet holiday. Don't come here if you want a buzzing, lively time - it's not that sort of a place. However, if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday with excellent service in a beautiful location, then this is as good a place as any. We were fortunately upgraded to a suite... More

This island is in the middle of the carribean. There isn't a lot of reasons to go this island except a holiday, as it is a rather poor island. The hotel itself is nice. Its directly on the beach, and the beach is a nice soft sand. There are small flies, so make sure you put on some insect repellant.... More

We spent 5 days at the TBH in November 2011 and loved it. The hotel is right on the beach which is beautifully kept with comfortable loungers, fresh towels and a bar. If you like the sea, this is a perfect place as the crashing waves and lovely sandy beach are directly beneath your balcony. Two restaurants, one a bit... More

We stayed in the TBH for one week in December 2011. The positives: - Upgrade to a suite upon arrival - Beautiful room made out of hardwood with amazing floors, bed and shutters - Right at the beach with wave crashing sounds all night - Mostly friendly staff and all very well organized - Good food with authentic Italian pasta... We spent three nights ashore at the Tamarind Beach during the course of a 2 week holiday cruising on a friends’ boat in the Grenadines. We wished we had spent longer! The welcome we received from the management all the way through to the beach staff was excellent. The managers, Cinzia and Angelo, a delightful Italian couple with many years’... More

We had a beautiful all wooden suite right on the beach with 2 bathrooms. We initially couldn't get the internet and our fridge needed defrosting. The staff were wonderful and had the island internet provider come straight out and fixed it and Roland, the maintenance man, immediately replaced the fridge. The food was great and service superb. Just enough people... More

We spent 10 days at The Tamarind Beach in late September / early October, which is their low season. We were a little surprised however to find out that for the first 6 days, we were the only people staying in the entire hotel! We had however, come to relax and this is a very pleasant place to do that.... More
