Very disappointed. Food took ages but we were told it would be a while. 2 x meals came out about 10mins before the rest. Meals were wrong and sauce missing etc. People next to us didn't eat at all! Manager did not apologise. He just explained the kitchen were busy. Sorry no excuse.

Enjoyed a delicious meal at a function in the old worldly Dining Room, and stayed the night in the accommodation upstairs. The room had a separate lounge area and had everything I required for a comfortable stay. In the morning it was pleasant to hear the birds chirping in the luscious tree outside the opened window. I could have easily... More

Dropped by after a hard day's house painting. They had a traditional double roast and veges for $19 and Imperial pints for $10. Just what the doctor ordered if I was a doctor. Nice old school venue, proper ding area for the better dressed, outside seating great in summer. Choice!

Last weekend a group of us gathered at this hotel for our annual Christmas lunch. Whilst the hotel inside is obviously old, it is clean with pleasant decor. The tables are nicely set up and the decor gives the large room a relaxed cozy feel. The lady that looked after our table was good natured and seemed very organized. We... More

It was a birthday treat, so 7 ladies sat at one table and 3 men sat at another table in the Restaurant! The meals were delicious and the service rendered by Zoe, Diana and Nicole was friendly and most efficient. It is a superb venue which has a most pleasant ambience. All in all a great time was had by... More

This hotel is a favourite for the older dinners who long for the good old days of pub dining in the Eastern suburbs. Very tradional fare. Good old fashioned quality meals with regular specials that make it worthwhile returning. Recently had an excellent Red Duck curry and my guest had an excellent Chicken and prawn combination. Service is always friendly... More

Recently a small group of family members gathered for dinner at the Feathers. There were 6 of us some of us regulars and a couple for the first time. We had a great time sitting round the table as we were looked after by the friendly staff. The meals were great the wine excellent and we enjoyed the venue immensely.... More

If you are looking for a reasonably priced, family-friendly dining room experience the stately Feathers Hotel is the place to go. A group of us had the Carvery meal on a Friday night served by one of the chefs who went out of his way to provide GF gravy for our table. Sure the decor is a bit dated but... More

Rooms definitely need some serious renovation, an elevator would be useful and the cleaning service leaves much to be desired. Corner rooms are sunny and have bathroom window, which makes it less claustrophobic.

Booked this just hours before arriving in Adelaide on a Saturday night. Didn't really want to stay in the CBD, would of liked to stay in the hills. As it was there was limited availability in the CBD and none in the hills. Room was comfortable enough, but I prefer more modern surrounds. Car parking was in the pub car... More
