If you are looking for a reasonably priced, family-friendly dining room experience the stately Feathers Hotel is the place to go. A group of us had the Carvery meal on a Friday night served by one of the chefs who went out of his way to provide GF gravy for our table. Sure the decor is a bit dated but... More

Rooms definitely need some serious renovation, an elevator would be useful and the cleaning service leaves much to be desired. Corner rooms are sunny and have bathroom window, which makes it less claustrophobic.

Booked this just hours before arriving in Adelaide on a Saturday night. Didn't really want to stay in the CBD, would of liked to stay in the hills. As it was there was limited availability in the CBD and none in the hills. Room was comfortable enough, but I prefer more modern surrounds. Car parking was in the pub car... More

We only stayed for one night and had a clean and comfortable room. A must do in Adelaide is trip by tram to Glenelg, which was the highlight of our short visit to this city. We had dinner at the in-house diner, which was delicious.

My daughter booked this Bed and Breakfast over a year ago for their wedding accommodation. We have a receipt a booking number and a confirmation. March is very busy in Adelaide, which is why we were so organised with this booking. Well today her husband made contact in regard to the check in time only to be told that they... More

Others have commented on the authentic 1960's decor. It certainly appears that nothing has been changed since then, adn while this may add to the nostalgia value it detracts form the score on quality. For example, in 1966 the plumbing was shiny new chrome. Today the plumbing is rusty, so even though they may clean it, the plug hole is... More

We didn't stay in The Feathers, but ate in its restaurant, which is what this review is based upon. As well as the a la carte menu, they do a help yourself three course buffet, which is exceptional value for money. The food is good honest pub grub - there's loads of choice and you can go back as many... More

The Feathers Hotel has been a local landmark in my old hometown for ages. It was built in the '70s as a sort faux English manor, but surprisingly this style has endured without major modification and it still retains the original appeal (really!). The rooms are small, tiny actually, but light, clean and airy without a 'shut in' feel. We... More
