Our 3-night stay at this resort just flew by! Though the resort was in the middle of nowhere, there was so much to do - horse-riding, wildlife tours, property tours, stable experience, hikes, bike riding, etc. 2 activities are included daily in the price of the suite and there are also other options that one can pay for (e.g. a... You stay at Wolgan Valley Resort for the experience - the experience of a quality resort with quality rooms and a great / original location in the western foothills of the NSW Blue Mountains. The rooms (really individual villa suites) were great - large bathroom, separate toilet, big and comfortable lounge room, screened in balcony with rocking chairs and your... More

Recently visited for a 3 night stay, you guys rock. A special mention must go to Derek he was very welcoming and made us feel at home from our arrival. A special mention must also go to Laura, she was our guide on a number of our tours she made each tour a memorable one. The service and attention to... More

Lovely to see a luxury resort which is not about bling and showmanship but elegance and style in a setting only possible in Australia. Only one way in and no day trippers and few cars as the carpart is a few kilometeres away from the resort. Wonderful food and relaxed ambience. You have no option but to wind down and... More

We spent 3 amazing nights in Wolgan Valley and were blown away by the whole experience... of course by the exceptional views and the wildlife, but also by the impeccable service, the food, the wine selection, and the spa. This is much more than a five star resort. It truly is an experience where you can step back from the... More

Spectacular birthday weekend here with my husband. Highlight was seeing boxing kangaroos on evening wildlife safari under a moonless sky flush with stars. Although hard to beat a glimpse of a Snow White roo while out mountain bike riding the next morning.

Location: exceptional views and, even better walks. Wildlife abounds, roos, wallabies and birds of many types. Trails take you through fields, bush, and riparian areas. Main lodge: again, exceptional views from all dining areas and the pool area. Intelligent and thoughtful staff. Beautiful rooms. Food: excellent throughout. OK, one morning's poached eggs were not runny, but only a curmudgeon would... More

Have been here twice now, once with my wife and once for a wedding. This is just an amazing place! The road in has been sealed now so we weren't fishing out red dust for the seals of our car doors for the next month which was nice. The service and facilities are impeccable. Food and wine are all local... More

This place gets ALMOST everything right. Incredible scenery between national parks on the west side of the Blue Mountains. Full of wild life, approachable from a nature, not zoo, perspective. Luxurious individual 'houses' complemented by ultra-luxurious lodge and spa. Great naturalist-led excursions, usually even 'free'. Ability to explore on own -- bird watching, bush-walks, trail bike rides, ... but not... More

I booked 3 nights at the resort to celebrate an anniversary. Could not fault the place. From the moment you arrive at the main gates, you know you're in for a treat. You don't have to lift a finger, everything is taken care of. We aren't used to this kind of service, but it grew on us very quickly. All... More
