staying at rancho santana was better than I expected. the condo we stayed in was in a great location near the club house and beach. we could walk most places, but rented a car so we could get to the other beaches on the property which were quite a distance away. the food at the resort was reasonably priced and... I selected this resort because of the location and other reviews. The beauty of the property is breath-taking. Views of the Pacific Ocean are easy from nearly every Villa. The club house and sand-dollar pool overlook the Ocean. Sunsets are spectacular. This property has been in existence since 1997 and their plan for growth is strategic and well placed. The... More

We'll Be Coming Back! We booked our trip through Waterways Travel and stayed at the Ventana a las Olas house. My husband had been wanting to do a surf trip for several years. We are so happy we chose to stay at one of the homes at Rancho Santana - it really met and exceeded our expectations. Here is why:... More

Came here thinking it would be just a beach hangout. It had so much more. Horseback riding, surfing, hiking, car tours. And there is so much to do if you look a bit. Facilities were great and food was too.

If you like classy accomodations, adventure, and world class food, you'll love Rancho Santana. I've been there four times in as many years. I like it so much I got hitched there. Here's why I love it: It's NOT a resort - you don't feel like you are staying in a cookie cutter room. The Villa's feel like cozy mansions... More

My fiancé and I stayed 5 days in one of the villas on the beach at Rancho Santana. I have to say that not once were we disappointed. The villa was incredible and was just steps away from the beach, pool, restaurant, and the spas. Our maid was friendly and quite efficient each day. The restaurant food and service was... More

Saludos John! We are so glad you and your fiancé had the opportunity to experience “the good life” here at Rancho Santana. You’re right that the villas are in a great location if you want to be close to the main amenities! Next time you visit, make sure to rent a car (even for a day!) from our on-site rental... More

It was perfect, for kids too, the only problem was making contact for the reservation, we have to insist many times until we get contact by the reservation team. Beach view, nice horses, great for family

Stayed in a Casita for 2 nights in May 2014. Very nice setup and enjoyed the stay. Wish I was able to stay longer, maybe next time! Great beaches on the property, 3 of them had no one at them at all. The other 2 had some surfers (the one at the north and south ends of the property). Beaches... More

My wife and I brought our three girls (ages 10, 12 and 14) for a week at the end of April. We stayed at Casa Bello Amancer. I can not possible give the house any higher ratings. Three bedroom / three bath house with a decent size pool and large patio overlooking the Pacific ocean. Very clean with fully operating... More

I won't elaborate much since all the great reviews speak for themselves. This place is awesome! Here are some pros and some small recommendations (so hopefully it can get even better). Pros: ● Surfing is really good ● Friendly staff ● Pools are good but I imagine they can get packed during busy season ● Great unique experience ● Awesome... More
