Friends of ours got married at Rancho Santana and we are SOOOO thankful they did! At first, we had our doubts- we're like, "You REALLY want us to fly to Nicaragua, take a 2 hour bus ride to some resort? I mean, we love you, but really??" Upon arrival to the resort... we totally got it. The stunning views, excellent... More

Beautiful clubhouse, amazing location, great service and the restaurant is as good as any 5 star restaurant in the world. Also, my girlfriend had a medical emergency when we were there and managers Erik Wetz and Alberto Payan were so helpful and did everything they could to support us in this manner...very professional and will help make every experience special.... My family and I ( 2 aduls, 2 adult children and 2 teens) just got back from a week at rancho Santana. We rented a beautiful home called Casa Cognoscenti on the ranch. It has amazing views, an awesome pool and the funishing were absolutely beautiful. It was our first trip to Nicaragua and we certainlychose well. Staying at the... More

I would never have chosen to go to Nicaragua for a family vacation, but my two teen sons were begging to go there for a surf vacation because of all the left breaks around Santana. My expectations were low, and those expectations were blown away. the weather was fantastic-usually sunny and hot, but also usually dry. Weather-wise, the wind was... More

staying at rancho santana was better than I expected. the condo we stayed in was in a great location near the club house and beach. we could walk most places, but rented a car so we could get to the other beaches on the property which were quite a distance away. the food at the resort was reasonably priced and... I selected this resort because of the location and other reviews. The beauty of the property is breath-taking. Views of the Pacific Ocean are easy from nearly every Villa. The club house and sand-dollar pool overlook the Ocean. Sunsets are spectacular. This property has been in existence since 1997 and their plan for growth is strategic and well placed. The... More

We'll Be Coming Back! We booked our trip through Waterways Travel and stayed at the Ventana a las Olas house. My husband had been wanting to do a surf trip for several years. We are so happy we chose to stay at one of the homes at Rancho Santana - it really met and exceeded our expectations. Here is why:... More

Came here thinking it would be just a beach hangout. It had so much more. Horseback riding, surfing, hiking, car tours. And there is so much to do if you look a bit. Facilities were great and food was too.

If you like classy accomodations, adventure, and world class food, you'll love Rancho Santana. I've been there four times in as many years. I like it so much I got hitched there. Here's why I love it: It's NOT a resort - you don't feel like you are staying in a cookie cutter room. The Villa's feel like cozy mansions... More

My fiancé and I stayed 5 days in one of the villas on the beach at Rancho Santana. I have to say that not once were we disappointed. The villa was incredible and was just steps away from the beach, pool, restaurant, and the spas. Our maid was friendly and quite efficient each day. The restaurant food and service was... More
