The Brier Island Lodge isn't the most snazzy place to stay, but it's full of charm and very friendly people. They definitely could use some upgrades in the rooms, but our stay was still very enjoyable. Brier Island is pretty small and there's not a lot to do there. If relaxing is what you're longing for, this is the place... More

It is quite the drive from Digby and 2 small ferries. You have to ensure you time it right, or you could be waiting awhile for the Ferry. The Lodge : Is perfectly located with a breathtaking view of the Bay Of Fundy. It is situated on a hill with nothing to obstruct your view. There are some farm animals,... More

Let me start by saying that the lodge is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Nova Scotia, if not Atlantic Canada. Brier Island really is a location like no other and definitely worth the visit. The staff at the lodge is friendly and the restaurant has delicious food with spectacular views. The haddock is so fresh it... More

Beautiful, quiet location. There is really nothing around so it's perfect if you're looking for a peaceful setting. Rooms were very clean and staff was very helpful. Lots of animals around which adds a quaint feel. Lots of opportunities for hiking with beautiful scenery. Whale watching is a must.

We were expecting a quiet retreat as it is right at the end of the Digby Neck and you have to get two ferries to get there, but if you want a no frills stay in an amazing place - this is it! The rooms are basic but clean and perfectly adequate, the food was excellent including the 'lunch box'... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Brier Island Lodge. This was our second time there and it was even better than I remembered. Our room was pleasant & large and had a nice view. The entire lodge staff was pleasant & helpful. We enjoyed our meals in the dining room and the view from the dining room was spectacular,... More

We have stayed here 3 times now. The lodge is comfortable and reasonably priced. The view is unbeatable and Brier Island is a great place to relax. Don't go if you like "the night life" but if you like to take quiet walks and love to look at flora and fauna, you will be in heaven. We especially enjoy watching... More

Nice lodge with nice accommodations and for the most part happy people who liked their jobs and very guest relation friendly except when one complains. The atmosphere and property are nice, comfortable and adequate for the price. I discovered that the Lodge has been "for sale" for several years which made sense to me when I brought a concern/challenge to... More

This is the second time we have stayed at the lodge and the first time we have used their own whale watching tour as this is their first year running The Island Link and Welcome Aboard Whale Watching Tours. We LOVE this lodge! The feeling you get when you get off the ferry and leave all of the hustle and... More

I should start by saying the we did not stay at the lodge. Brier Island Lodge has their own whale watching tours on site called "Welcome Aboard", this is what I will cover in the review. The boat, "The Island Link" is a first class vessel. The boat is spotless and quiet and sits well in the water. The captain... More
