I would agree with the other poor review on here. We usually try to find hotels on the cheaper side, but this is by far the worst one we have ever stayed at. From all the good reviews, I'm not sure if we just got a bad room or what. The faucet was falling off the sink the shower was... More

Im going to be completely honest here, I was torn between giving this a bad review or just not saying anything at all. Ill give the pro's first- there is a great bakery down the block. the pool is 8 feet deep it has 5-6 parking spots a lot of rooms in the complex (this does not mean they all... More

Very clean and quiet. Nice place to stay and sleep...like home. Next time I will choose El Patio again. :)) There's a Spanish Bakery ( Panaderia España) near the place, with good food, pastry, and wines. Try the caldo gallego soup!

I stayed at El Patio on multiple occasions. It's a great value. The bed was comfortable, you can walk to the beach, the pool is nice, the staff was very helpful every time. If you think you won't be spending much time in your room (which you shouldn't because you should be at the beach drinking pina coladas), then this... More

Decided to stay here because we didn't want to splurge too much since it was our last day in Puerto Rico and we needed a place close to the airport for our early flight, and yet still enjoy the town - one last time. The place is conveniently located away from the main street of where all shops, hotels and... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in a double room. The room is definitely no frills, but I felt like it was a nice value. To get to Carolina Beach you walk one long block, three short blocks, and across an overpass to the side of the road where the resorts are. Angela is wonderful. Some of the bedding was a... More

We spent 3 days at this little "Diamond in the rough" This is definately for the modest traveler looking for a quite retreat and looking to get away from the MegaResort!! Our room was cozy and clean...50's like decor with a fridge that kept my beer cold...13" TV with many channels...a super cold AC...an OK bed and a hot shower!!... More
