The location is beautiful on the waterside of a sheltered tidal river inlet. This hotel is adapted for kids with free kids club while I was here over the Easter break. There is a good indoor pool and sauna/steam room but I'm not sure if it has a full-on spa. There is a kid free floor for anyone who wants... More

Just back from another lovely couple of days at this hotel. Keep going back as it never fails to deliver! Lovely room, lovely view. Had dinner in the restaurant the first night and could not fault the service. The food was very well prepared with lots of choice. Had room service for breakfast both days and it arrived on time... Stayed here over Easter break - good value deal. The setting of this hotel is just lovely - very picturesque and peaceful. The room was nicely decorated - lots of white. I stayed in a twin room - beds were a little firm and the room did get a little warm at night - opened window but there was a... More

I stayed at this hotel on business. The rooms are fine, with a bath/shower, my trouser press self-destructed as I went to open it. I had a sideways view of the river, a lovely backdrop for the hotel. Rooms were quiet and I had a good nights sleep, a rarity in hotels these days. The bar was busy but not... More

This was our 4th time back to Ferrycarrig. We try to make it an annual visit. We would not have any reason to try somewhere new next year as Ferrycarrig ticks all the boxes. We went mid week on the Supervalu breaks so got the 3rd night free. We enjoyed it so much that on the day we were due... More

We returned to the Ferrycarrig after a gap of 10 years and although it was not as brilliant as our first visit, it was still really enjoyable. The hotel is sited close to the N11 primary route to/from Rosslare car ferry Port but set down in a hollow, yet without sounds of passing traffic. Nice bedroom with a balcony - look for one facing south [to maximise sunlight] rather than facing east. Try and get a room close to the lifts as you could end up walking... More

Stayed for one night with my wife and we really enjoyed the stay. The beautiful weather added to the pleasure. The room was comfy and spacious. Breakfast was fine. The one fault I found was the rather dictatorial notice threatening to charge detected smokers €150.

Dear Jomac233, Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. All our bedrooms are non-smoking, however, we do offer balcony rooms to smokers. Unfortunately some guests chose to ignore this policy thus leaving a serious smoke odour in the room. While leaving windows open may solve part of this... More
