Arrived in the front door greeted to a odor from the men's toilets close by, the staff were very professional to a point, we arrived to our room, very big with a nice view, but the heating was not on and disspite repeated request to for it... Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner on a deal and was very pleasantly surprised! The staff were all lovely, friendly and professional. Had a fabulous meal in the restaurant on the first evening, food and service were both excellent. Breakfast was well organised and very nice. All in all, I really can’t find fault. Thank you for a... We returned to the Ferrycarrig for another satisfactory one night stay. The hotel is located in pleasant riverside atmosphere c.15 minutes by car from Wexford town and it has extensive leisure facilities. There are signs of recent renovation to parts of what was becoming a somewhat tired building but there’s more work to do. Our renovated room and bathroom were... More

First the positives, friendly staff, beautiful views of the estuary (try & get a room with balcony facing the water), comfy beds and room generally fine. On the downside, restaurant was disappointing the night we ate in it, we had to queue for about 5 mins to get seated for breakfast one of the mornings, the bar is very big... More
