We. Recently stayed at the RV park at the resort. We paid $20 for a site with no hook ups which I thought was a little high. The hot springs pools are good although again $15 is a bit steep. However this is an experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the resort need to train their staff in charm... More

Many of the reviews I see for this hotel seem to be holding it to the standards for any US hotel. However, this is a very remote area in a sparsely populated state. Fairbanks, pop 32,000, is over 50 miles away! Almost everything has to be trucked or flown in from the lower 48. Employees pretty much live there. We... More

We visited this property several times over the summer of 2013. We enjoyed the hot springs and were genuinely impressed by the largest mosquitos we had ever seen. Other than the hot springs and the ice museum, there wasn't much to do in the summer that appealed to us. We decided to return with friends in January to see the... More

My wife and I along with some friends had booked an excursion on our Land and sea cruise which we found very enjoyable. We toured the ice museum where we had green apple martinis and the ice sculptures were amazing and very unique then enjoyed a nice supper at the resort and finished up the evening with a dip in... ..the hotel were so poorly managed and maintained. The hot springs are great and there is much to do and to see at the resort: beautiful gardening and landscaping, the fantastic ice museum (order the appletinis - the ice glasses are great), corrals with caribous, goats and chickens, canoeing, hiking, flightseeing, a sled dog kennel and more. However, the hotel... More

If I am honest, this was a bit of a splurge while travelling the states. My sole goal was to see the Northern Lights and I acheived this. The resort itself was ok in every way. Nothing mind blowing but nothing that i felt was particularly dire. There was many activities available. The scenery was spectacular. The ameneties, like i... More

My room was spacious but badly in need of refurbishment with a very stained carpet, very old and dirty taps in the washbasin. The bed is made of a thick layer of foam on top of an old mattress. In the downstairs room you can hear the people above walking about. The tap water smells of sulphur so I bought... More

We spent a day at the hot springs while visiting family in Fairbanks. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the adults enjoyed the hot springs, even in the rain! The 'behind the scenes' tour was quite interesting and showed how the facility is self-sustaining. The ice museum was also a good addition to our day.

A lot has been written in the past of this resort. The primary center of the complex is the hot springs itself. Hot, relaxing, and a great way to soak away the cares of the world. Service was great, the staff was extremely helpful, and the location ideal.

Chena hot springs was a nice place to relax. The springs were very warm and I enjoyed everything about the trip. Well..... except the shower house. Yikes!! But if you just bring flip flops you are fine!! I am glad we went here in stead of stay another night in Fairbanks.
