This is my third stay at Chena hot springs and I've seen some very good improvements since visiting the past 2 times. This is a place where you get away from it all literally. There is no cell phone service or internet to check your social media accounts so you can strike that out. You are disconnected from the "airwaves"... More

We enjoyed the hot springs and were genuinely impressed by the largest mosquitos we had ever seen. Other than the hot springs and the ice museum, there wasn't much to do in the summer that appealed to us. We decided to return with friends in January to see the northern lights and were WAY more favorably impressed than we expected.... More

Not bad... But not great either... If I was the owner of a hot spring located in the Far North, I would make sure to have the outdoor pool as the main focus of my property. Not so... There are no lights by the pool, and you're supposed to enjoy a steaming hot jump into the unknown... It was my... More

We had some wonderful hiking followed by much needed soothing soaks in the hot springs. The geothermal tour is very good. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Big improvement through the last few years. Food was great as always, hot springs was awesome. Keep up the good work. The only thing now is to make those dressing rooms bigger.

Chena Hot Springs is a mix of natural wonders, kitchy tourists stuff, and a varitey of accommodations that are charmingly hokey and functional. The hot springs are fantastic year round, but my favorite time to visit is in winter when everything is covered in hoarfrost and looks like a fairy land. The remote setting is a great place to watch... More

The hotel was quite nice, the facilities were excellent, the staff helpful, and the prices amazingly reasonable. First of all, the restaurant is excellent. Great food and excellent service. The hot springs and pool area are a treat. The famous Ice Museum is certainly worth a look. Gift shops and a smaller food court have great service by warm and... More

Stayed 2 nights- Room was tiny: needed repairs, new mattress and a good cleaning. Staff generally friendly. Restaurant very expensive food not so great. Hot springs nice, but locker rooms beat up and way too small. An o.k. place to visit would not care to return. It is very dated! ts

I really like hot springs so we detoured on our way to come to Chena. It is a quaint little resort that definitely has seen better days. But it is still maintained, with a lot of facilities and self sufficient enough to spend a good amount of time here without the need to go out. We had a motorhome site... More

The hot springs were great and enjoyed all the activities we participated in. We did snow shoeing, dog sled ride and kennel tour, ice museum tour and geothermal tour. For our 3 day stay we had plenty to keep us busy. We thought the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough for the 4 of... More

The hot springs was very warm and sometimes too hot in places. The locker rooms were clean. There are lockers for rental to keep your clothes. There was a nice adult area. The restaurants had GREAT salads. The burger was excellent beef. Would come back for sure.
