My room was spacious but badly in need of refurbishment with a very stained carpet, very old and dirty taps in the washbasin. The bed is made of a thick layer of foam on top of an old mattress. In the downstairs room you can hear the people above walking about. The tap water smells of sulphur so I bought... More

We spent a day at the hot springs while visiting family in Fairbanks. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the adults enjoyed the hot springs, even in the rain! The 'behind the scenes' tour was quite interesting and showed how the facility is self-sustaining. The ice museum was also a good addition to our day.

A lot has been written in the past of this resort. The primary center of the complex is the hot springs itself. Hot, relaxing, and a great way to soak away the cares of the world. Service was great, the staff was extremely helpful, and the location ideal.

Chena hot springs was a nice place to relax. The springs were very warm and I enjoyed everything about the trip. Well..... except the shower house. Yikes!! But if you just bring flip flops you are fine!! I am glad we went here in stead of stay another night in Fairbanks.

Our family is from the area and had a reunion at Chena Hot Springs for a weekend this summer. Most folks stayed at the campground but we opted for the family suite at the resort. Luckily we got a 50% discount so it "only" cost $160/night. The rooms put the "rust" in rustic: dirt brown carpet, thin walls, sagging beds,... More

Haven't stayed in their hotels, but have been to the hot springs on a day trip a few times now and it is a lovely experience every time. Hot springs are soothing and relaxing whether it's a sunny day or a rainy one (the rain actually feels great with the hot water). Highly recommend going on the free Geothermal tour... More

I made a point of spending a day at the Chena Hot Springs Resort, though I didn't have accommodations there. First of all, the restaurant is excellent. Great food and excellent service. The hot springs and pool area are a treat. The famous Ice Museum is certainly worth a look. Gift shops and a smaller food court have great service... More

We stayed here two years ago in the winter when we came to see the Northern Lights (and we DID see them) We returned again this summer and were amazed at the beauty of the flowers on the grounds. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. If you like hot springs, you'll enjoy Chena ... however the outside hot pool... More

Didnt stay in any of the rooms, mainly just went for a drive and found something to eat. I guess they grow their own produce, and boy can you tell! The salads we had were amazing. Food was great! Wouldnt mind returning and staying for a night or two. Didnt go in the hot springs since we didnt have swim... More

We went for an overnight that was purchased by my sister-in-law. It's something that we wouldn't have gotten for ourselves, but we ended up having a very nice time. The accommodations were pretty basic, but they worked. The hot springs were fun and the produce in the restaurant was quite good. I don't think I'd want to stay here for... More
