I can't say enough great things about this wonderful resort. The hot springs are amazing and the restaurant is high Quality! There is so many things to do at this resort and it's a wonderful destination to enjoy the Northern lights. Don't forget to visit the Ice Museum and try the grilled scallops..AWESOME!! I will be back!

Spent 3 nights at the resort and was pleased with all aspects, room, amenities, food, tours etc!!! The room we had in the Moose Lodge was spacious, clean and modern. No fridge or microwave but we didn't care as we were on the all inclusive plan. Speaking of that the food was FANTASTIC. Fresh, plentiful and tasty!!!! The dog sled,... More

The front desk person was so rude, it was almost funny. We hung out by the post cards next to the front desk to hear him belittle guests. The pet friendly room made motel 6 seems like a 4 star hotel. The cafe where there was wifi seemed nice, after paying for wifi I found it didn't work. When I... More

When in Fairbanks, don't miss this resort. We came here for a day. This is quite an interesting place. It offers access to a world class Ice Museum. Lots of winter activities and a tour of the Geothermal Plant.

We went to Chena in hopes of seeing the Northern Lights. The first night was cloudy, the second night was clear and we scored, what an amazing sight. We not only were able to see the lights but a moose and her two youngsters walked by where we were sitting. The restaurant is nothing to get excited about, the wait... More

I'll start with the positives: The hot springs felt amazing! The skies cooperated and showed me a fantastic northern lights display, which was my main reason for trekking all the way out there! And the food and service at the bar was quite good. HOWEVER, the accommodations, especially considering what you pay for them, are ridiculously subpar. The shower was... More

It's a good hour + 15-30 minute drive to the resort. We visited on a Wednesday and sat in the hot springs after 10:00 pm and had the place to ourselves. I was pleasantly surprised at how natural, clean, peaceful the hot springs are. I've been to about 7 other hot springs in Costa Rica, Oregon, WA, Montana, California and... More

My wife and I visited Fairbanks a week ago. We took a tour with Ben Boyd(alaskanorthernlights) to go to Chena Hot Springs. The Tour: Ben asked us to be ready by 1:00 PM and was there at the hotel sharp at 1:00 PM to pick us up. We drove to Chena Hot Springs and on the way Ben explained us... More

China Hot Springs is a good place to go if you are in town for a few days. It takes over an hour to drive there and the drive is a nice one. There is a bar on the left going up that is fun. They have a horse and he sticks his head in the window at the bar... More
