Old house which used to be the home of one of the local bandits. 4 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bedrooms downstairs. Very comforable bed. All furniture looks original. From the patio area the view is incredible. Stayed just the one night and didn't have breafast due to having to take the early bus into Málaga. Service was pleasant and polite. Very... more

...but there isn't much to do in Ronda. Perfect hotel. On the far side of town, which is a very pleasant walk. We arrived in the afternoon, wandered the town for awhile then back to the hotel for some wine in the jardin. Beautiful view, very nice. Breakfast was served there in the morning. The room was large and the... more

This place is full of character. It is small and has the atmosphere of a private home - book with that in mind and you will have a wonderful time. Jose Maria is very warm host and you will soon feel right at home. Breakfast is simple (toast butter jam coffee) and an absolute steal at €1. The view from... more

We stayed at the Jardin De La Muralla for 5 nights in August and cannot praise the place enough. The hotel has six guest rooms and we took one of the suites which comprised of a large bedroom and huge bathroom with two antique ceramic sinks and importantly a very good shower. The hotel is a slice of old Spain... more

If you are even considering this hotel then you must book it! It was my favourite out of 7 on our Spanish trip. It is like staying in someone's house, but there are only about 5 or 6 rooms and ours was beautiful. The bathroom was gorgeous. Then there's the pool and gardens... wonderfully cute. Overlooked by a church. I... more

Great little hotel with an amazing garden with beautiful views...The staff is very nice. Breakfast is simple (toast and coffee) and rooms are beautiful. There is a DELICIOUS restaurant close by called San Francisco- best goats cheese of my life! Also, try in Ronda a great little pizza plae called Nonno Pepe in the centre of town. more

Hotel Jardin de la Muralla must surely be unique in Ronda for its lovely large gardens with views over open countryside, an idyllic place to start your day with a light breakfast or just to pass some tranquil time. There is even a swimming pool that looked very inviting to us despite the early March temperatures of our stay; we... more

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October 2006. It was difficult to find (we were walking from the train station) which didn't bode well. The good things were that our room was large (a double bed and a single bed) and there was plenty of hot water. Everything else was well below expectations. The... more

Our family of 4 (children ages 16 and 9) stayed at Jardin for 6 nights in June. It was simply a wonderful experience. The hotel has only 6 guest rooms in a house in the old quarters of Ronda, next to the Espiritu Santo Church. The living room opens on to a three level terrace with incredible views, a patio,... more

We stayed here with our two boys. We had two rooms, each very individual. The gardens are out of this world. They have a pool also, which we all enjoyed in 97 degree heat. This is an old place, a step back in time. You have a lovely breakfast on patio that is included in room price. The views are... more
