We had a late lunch here and unfortunately we did not check the reviews beforehand. We wanted to try a tortilla ( €9.50 ), beans and sausage (€6.50 ), salad (€9.50) with some beers (€4.50 each ). The food was expensive for what we were served and was not very good. On requesting the bill, the waiter returned quickly with... More

We had our first of five nights meal here this evening..... It looked so inviting but what a mistake, we both plumped for the mixed hot tapas, but it turned out to be not really a tapas as we know it.... Not very hot and poor quality. Definitely not a place we'll return to.

Arrived in Ronda hungry after a long drive and regrettably chose to eat here. The Tapas was awful and not edible, it tasted like frozen food cooked up. Watery prawns and a tasteless tortilla. Best thing was the peppers that came out of a jar. There are so many better places to eat in Ronda

The best part of the hotel was the staff. Very helpful with use of the medium sized but safe underground garage, late entry, breakfast etc. Only little English spoken but whatever I needed they managed to sort out. The single room I had was very small, as in struggling to put my bags on the floor and still walk past... More

We wanted to have a drink before heading back to the coast. The restaurant we'd decided on had closed and we saw the Don Javier up the side street so decided, as we didn't have a lot of time, to settle for a drink there. It's up a narrow street and quite gloomy. It appears to be on either side... More

1 block from the bull ring, 1 block from the new (1700) bridge. Staff was superb room was large clean and colourful. Free breakfast was more than adequate. 15 to 20 restaurants within walking distance. Parking was under the bldg expensive 14 euro per day but worth it's weight in gold

We walked up and down Ronda in search of our ideal restaurant for our meal that night and Don Javier stood out for us normal folk. It was a nice little restaurant on the main Street of Ronda and as soon as we stepped in our waiter made us feel at home. My girlfriend normally worries about eating out because... More

the room was excellent for the price. I was exited to see magazines laid out on our table. was disappointed by the shower, wasn't really clean, and had a double curtain that needed to be replaced badly. WiFi was good. the hotel restaurant i do not recommend. we ate there dinner and breakfast. on both occasions there was a large... More

Location better than expected, maybe we misjudged the map, but thought we'd have a lot of walking to do to see the old town, chasm, etc. Turns out this hotel is very close to the chasm and historic bridge, and walking around the old town from there was easy. Even had time to do an unguided tour of the bullring... More
