This hotel is located in a charming, quiet location just outside of Ronda. The grounds are beautiful with bountiful orange and lemon trees, and our room had a fabulous terrace with them within an arm's reach. We enjoyed a lunch on the terrace and dinner in the dining room, and both meals were delicious. The staff was very accommodating, yet... More

Fuente de la Higuera can be reached within ten minutes or so from Ronda in the hills. It enjoys a wonderful setting on a hill slope with great views on the surrounding mountains. We stayed in one of the suites with its own terrace and views of an orchard with ancient olive trees. I will not give a recommendation for... More

The hotel nestles on the hillside behind Ronda set in extensive grounds. The rooms are large and have terraces or balconies. Extremely well appointed and beautiful. The pool is set in a walled garden a real suntrap. The staff were really attentive and made it feel like a family home rather than a hotel. The evening meals were excellent. This... More

There is always a worry when you read good reviews that things will not live up to expectations.....but Fuente de la Higuera exceeded them! We stayed for 5 nights and loved our room with a spiral staircase to another bedroom, sitting room and terrace. The relaxation and comfort were what we needed. But makes this place so special is the... More

We had a really good stay here. A little further from Ronda than I envisaged but that turned out to be a good thing. Really welcoming staff and good food. I would recommend. The room was really nice, a really relaxing atmosphere

and all the views from our terrace overlooking it were magnificent. IT had recently snowed , thus the mountains in the distance contrasting with the orange and lemon trees off our terrace were magical. Although we did not have a car, I think it is very manageable without. We took a bus from Marbella to Ronda,(glad we weren't driving those... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights on our way from Sevilla to Granada. We had lots of plans to go into Ronda and sight-see, but the hotel was so wonderful we ended up sleeping in, taking a hike (recommended by the owner), and enjoying a delicious dinner in the dining room. I wished we had more nights,... More

Well converted agricultural complex with large quiet rooms, terrace and pool, dining room, set in pleasant grounds 5 miles from Ronda. Great location for walks in surrounding hills, horse riding nearby. Easy run in 90 mins from Malafa. Trains from Ronda to other Andalus cities: Granada, Cordoba, Seville. Be aware WiFi but not TV. Music CD's library. Great Dutch style... More

A beautiful hotel with amazing, luxurious rooms. we had 2 suites, both lovely, one with a terrace overlooking the gardens, both with log fires. Everything in the rooms is carefully arranged to be gorgeous, with old wooden furniture, large bathrooms, very comfortable four poster beds with muslin curtains etc. The only hotel we went to in Spain which was properly...
