We loved this hotel it a small boutique hotel with only 15 or 16 rooms, we had a junior suite with amazing views of the gorge good value. The staff are very courteous and breakfast is great, with similarly great views of the gorge it is a great base to explore Ronda in the heart of the town. I would... More

Romantic Ronda was settled by Celts but reached major significance with the Romans and its setting across the Tajo cliffs is stunning. The hotel is located in an old regional palace by the cliff and is home of one of the best restaurants in town. It is also well priced , lower than the Parador on the other side with... More

We stayed at this hotel for just one night during our tour of Andalucia, and wish it could have been longer. We loved Ronda, and loved this hotel. Our room was spacious with a sensational view across the gorge to the new bridge. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and parked our car for us in the hotel's (very tight!)... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our visit to Ronda. It is just a couple of minutes walk from the famous 'Puente Nuevo' (bridge) and sits on one side of the gorge that separates both sides of the small town. The views from the hotel are breathtaking! Unfortunately our room faced the street and not the bridge... More

I can't rave enough about this hotel. The view is beautiful. Being right on the edge of the gorge, it's great for people watching and sunset. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I had dinner (really just wine and pudding) in the restaurant, the chocolate soufflé is wonderful! The rooms are really nicely decorated, with L'occitane toiletries! Ours also... More

We had a room facing the street rather than the view. The view would have been nice, but didn't matter too much. The room was large as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings tasteful and traditional. Had one breakfast which was fine albeit not special.

After a very poor night at hotel Maestranza in Ronda ( see separate review), we changed hotel and had the chance to get a suite at Montelirio hotel. Great view from the room, good space, etc. Furniture of traditional style, a bit heavy looking/overload. Very good restaurant, kind service, kind reception. Net, very good value - price ratio.

Stayed one night as part of B & R bike trip. Had an upgraded room with sleeping balcony. Views are extraordinary, location is perfect, staff could not be more accommodating . Rooms are small even by European standards. Great for a short stay.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel during a 3 week traveling holiday in Spain. I booked a "superior room with views" and was not disappointed. The room was large, clean and decorated lovely.......and the view was terrific! Staff were very friendly, reliable and catered for our every need. We ate at the hotel restuarant (situated on the terrace with great... More

Hotel Montelirio is an amazing spot. Right on the canyon edge of El Tajo, with fab views of the Bridge and Canyon. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay, the service is all excellent. Out of all the places we have visited in Ronda, I would rate this no.1 with regards to decor, setting and service.
