We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The double room with a view was small and comfortable, but the view -- oh, the view! It is spectacular! And if you like views like I do, then this is the place to be in Ronda. To look out the window of your own room, especially in the morning as the... More

We stayed at Hotel Montelirio in Ronda one night in May and loved it. We had a room with a view and it's absolutely worth paying a little more for a view. The room was large and very nice. The staff was great and very helpful - we had to leave early the next morning so they had breakfast delivered... More

Ronda is a small town easily walked and the hotel has prime position in the middle of the town sitting precipitously on top of the 130 meter high gorge, with a wonderful view. The restaurant is good, our junior suite was a reasonable size, very quiet but no view. The decor however is somewhat darkly old-fashioned. Not our style, although... More

Such an amazing location, but you are not taken for granted by the staff! They treat you wonderfully and were always smiling! We had a few nights in one of the suites (you pay a bit more - but entirely worth it to ensure you get the view & have some space). Also, I would suggest you take them up... More

We had prebooked our room here based on the hotel's location perched on the edge of the gorge and were not disappointed. We stayed only for one night but could easily have stayed longer. The young lady receptionist was very helpful and friendly, even parked our car for us.

The view here is great, so is the location. Walking distance to everything and facing the mountains where the sun sets. The room was pretty big and had plenty of room for us. We only stayed in Ronda one night, so its tough to comment on much else. Breakfast was good, but more difficult than other hotel restaurants to get... More

Found this wonderful gem in the beautiful old town of Ronda. Got the superior room named Marracesh since it was the last available room - and was blown off by the wonderful room and panoramic view to the bridge and mountains. Would recommend this experience to every romantic couple who want a special memory from their Andalucian trip. Ps- it's... More

I made a slight mistake stopping off here for something to eat. I was heading to the viewing point below the bridge, when after having a quick look at the menu I decided to stop for food. The problem being that; after having a superb slow cooked Ox Tail, an absolutely filthy Chocolate Souffle, a refreshing cold larger, a lovely... More

Two night stay at the Hotel Montelirio. Cannot recommend highly enough. The young lady on Reception was very friendly and checked us in quickly. She took us up to our room which on entering was in darkness, and very dramatically pulled the curtains back and opened the french doors, leaving us to take in the spectacular view. When we turned... We made no reservations in Ronda hoping to find a charming hotel on the gorge .. and were delighted to find Hotel Montelirio. We walked over the gorge on the bridge, turned right on a tiny street in the old section of town and found this great hotel within a very short distance. We were lucky to have a room... More
