Ronda - wow, what an amazing town!!! The Hotel Maestranza was fantastic, and the location was perfect. We were there during the off-peak, so all hotels in Spain were going for bargain prices and this hotel was no exception. Our room cost €54 for a double/night. Rooms were en-suite, spacious, comfortable and came with TV, WIFI. We even had a... more

We just returned from a 2 week trip to Spain. One of the towns we visited was Ronda. Ronda sits on top of a gorge, 394 feet high as I recall. It is an amazing sight. In Ronda, there is also the oldest bull ring in Spain, built in 1715. The town has a new section and an older section.... more

Really impressed by this hotel. Great value for money and right slap bang in the middle of everything Ronda has to offer. Just a few metres from the gorge and opposite the Bull Ring. The central shopping area is also a block away. The rooms are nicely decorated and have extras like safes and hair dryers. Easy to find by... more

Like others we found the Maestranza conveniently located. The room lacked character, was on the small side and like someone else has noted our room had an odd smell. We almost asked to change but we were only there one night and not in it much. The parking below was very convenient and there was good breakfast. We paid considerably... more

Hotel Maestranza is ideally located in the main street, but it was not at all noisy - our window overlooked the bullring ... plus it was only 100 metres from the Gorge and 50 metres from main shopping Mall . . . a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Our room was excellent - very clean and comfortable, great... more

Very happy with Maestranza hotel. Location 150 metres from famous bridge between old & new town & chasm. Parking handled by staff for 9 euros per night underneath. Reception most friendly. Breakfast quite adequate in choice & quality however check lids otherwise you may miss hot items of eggs & bacon. Room well furnished though crowded however not a problem.... more

This hotel was in a perfect location. Just opposite the bullring and within walking distance of everything. We had our car parked for us and the staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and ok but no view and had no character. This didn't bother us as we were out sightseeing most of the time. The breakfast was fine... more

We only stayed in this hotel for 1 night, I don't think I would have liked to stay longer. The location is excellent, but our room was the smallest I have stayed in and the size of the bathroom was a joke. Other than that the room was clean, if a bit dated - fine for a one night stay. more

Stardard town centre hotel, the main plus is the location, but it's absolutely fine for what it is. To be honest we were only in there becasue we couldn't get in the Parador. Everthing clean and tidy, rooms adequate, most of the light bulbs work, usual stuff. The bar would be nice but for the rather terse staff. There's no... more

Despite all the positive reviews (which lead me to book this hotel in the first place) I cannot recommend anyone to stay here. The location is excellent as were the hotel staff but the rooms were old, dirty and smelly. My girlfriend and I had booked a double room but were first given a twin instead. This first room was... more
