Staying in Hotel San Gabriel really transports one back to historic times. The architecture and the decor is exquisite. The rooms are just beautiful, though not as brightly lit as I would prefer, but that is owed entirely to preserving the lamps in the way it used to be. The room and bathroom is well furnished and clean. The lounge... More

San Gabriel is a lovely little hotel in an excellent location. Right in the center of a beautiful historic and refreshing town, about an hour's drive inland (into the mountains) from Marbella. Very cozy -- does feel like as they say "su casa en Ronda". The staff did their utmost to make our one night stay enjoyable -- including very... More

The hotel staff anticipated our needs before our arrival. Without asking, putting a child-cot inside our bedroom. We were also offered a great list of nearby restaurants. The hotel itself is also very impressive. Would come back again in the future.

Ronda, Spain is a magical place. Walking through the old parts of the city and gazing at the canyon that divides the city while you stand on one of the three bridges. Our stay was even more special because of our stay at the Hotel Gabriel. This is an older hotel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. In fact,... More

A small, boutique hotel on the "quiet" side of the New Bridge. This is an historic, former home, with interesting architecture and quaint finishes. All rooms are different. Common areas are pleasant and inviting. Close to museums and historic sites...great area for walking. Close to several restaurants and cafes. Easy walking to business area via New Bridge. Some small inconveniences:... More

Hotel San Gabriel is difficult to find but it is worth it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable. Great location. Close to good restaurants and historic landmarks. Breakfast was good. I loved everything about it. I would definitely go back

Good hotel for location, price and service - downsides are the fact that it is VERY noisy largely due to the fact that the floors are all tiled and the building is historic so tour groups pass all day long - and the breakfast is odd as they place people at strange tables

We stayed here one night at the beginning of a week long cycling tour and one night at the end of the bike trip. The hotel was in a great location near the famous bridge and there was a good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Nice ambience in the common areas. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The wifi... More

My wife and I stopped here during our two week stay in Spain. We knew it was going to be a nice hotel based on pictures and reviews, but wow! My wife and I were blown away. Great service, they speak excellent English when our Spanish wasn't up for the task, and it's every bit as "magical" as the pictures... More
