This hotel is not located close to any of the interesting sights in Ronda. In fact, it is at least a 20 minute walk just to find a decent place to have a morning cafe. The restaurant breakfast is very expensive (14 euros) and very limited selection. We arrived on a Sat. night and there was a big wedding being... more

Our room was was small but comfortable and had an exceptionally spacious terrace with amazing views over the valley. The swimming pool was fantastic - huge and quiet with a lovely setting under ancient pine trees. more

We loved everything about this hotel. It was a few blocks out of the center of town but that just made the location more peaceful. The staff was friendly but we didn't need them for anything so we didn't interact much. The room was very nice with a balcony overlooking the valley. The bed was 2 twin beds pushed together... more

We enjoyed staying at this hotel - from the moment we arrived until we left 2 days later. The short walk into the centre did not bother us and we are both 60.Our very spacious room, (No.206) was on second floor with large balcony and views that would not fail to please. Amazing. It has a peaceful setting in pleasant... more

At first glance you can think that the Hotel, whilst having certainly seen better days, will do for a short break. And, if you are doing just that it might be fine for one night or two at a push. But for anything longer, book in somewhere else. The place is very tired, the rooms desperate for refurbishment, and the... more

The room stunk of sewers. There has been attempts of refurb. but done on the cheap. The whole hotel needs gutted and refurbished. There is a foisty smell throughout the hotel. Windows corroded so the would not lock. Balcony furniture dirty. Waited 10 minutes to get served at the bar after calling staff from reception. The pool is a run... more

After reading some of these reviews i wonder if the hotel has made recent drastic improvements or whether they have a wide variance in room types. I stayed there in Feb 09 for 2 nights and loved it - clean, huge rooms, comfy beds, and amazing private balcony views. The hotel also has atmosphere, which is lacking in most hotels... more

We have recently returned from a two week stay at this charming hotel and cannot praise it highly enough. As frequent visitors to Spain we normally stay in the Parador hotels but whenever we visit Ronda we always stay at the Reina Victoria. This is an elegant, sophisticated hotel a million miles away from the brash, noisy, faceless modern hotels... more

You can still see the past beauty of this hotel, but still with charm. Clearly needs a facelift and an upgrade. One of the best locations in Ronda, magic panorama, walking distance to the bridge. Nice garden. Spacious rooms. Parking space available. more

Stayed here on business in April of this year for 2 nights. Whilst the hotels location is great, this is the only positive that I can give. The rooms have dated decor, the carpets are stained, breakfast was not available until 8am (no good if you have an early start) and the pool is green!! I spent as little time... more
