This is a good location set among olive trees with good sized plots and close to Ronda on foot but I'm going to be critical here since the site charges almost 25 euros for a campervan and 2 people incl electricity - and that is expensive by any measure and well more than any site we've been to in Spain... Apparently in the off season many folks don't think about a 'camping' area to stay in HOWEVER, they have little several little bungalows and we REALLY enjoyed ours. First off Carmen the host was a sweetie who greeted us with a bright smile and welcoming attitude. We stayed in #5 which was a cute little studio type building. It was... More

We spent 7 nights in the bungalow of camping El Sur while travelling in Andalusia. The camping site is located about 2km from Ronda, but the area is very green and quiet. There is all you need in this campus: restaurant, laundry facility, swimming pool etc. There are few bungalows, which seems to be new. They are fully equipped, however... More

If you want a peaceful campsite this is it and only a 15 minute walk into the beautiful town of Ronda. Lovely restaurant, large pitches and friendly staff. If you do not want to walk into the town taxis are readily available for about 10 €. The campsites motto is if you want loud music and noise go somewhere else.... More

This we found and stayed two nights. Nearby famous Ronda Bridge. Take care as road into Ronda over the famous bridge is forbidden for caravans, large campervans and large trucks. Small campervans are ok as weight comparable to small truck or laden family car! There is another route into town on the east side via the motorway, and then in... More

This is our 3rd time of staying on this site & as always Carmen in reception is so helpful, making sure everything is just right for our stay, also Maria in the restaurant is very friendly, although she doesn't speak English it is easy to communicate with her. I usually get my laundry sorted while there as facilities are good... More

The campsite is very spacious and the climate there is noticably coller than at the coast. It is meant for people searching for peace as radio and TV are prohibited there. The staff was very friendly. I would definitelly recomend this place to families with kids.

it's 850m up so very cool at night after hot august days esp when you're in a small tent. everything others have said are true - clean, spacious plots, lovely pool with great views, quiet (apart from dogs that you hear everywhere in spain, nothing to do with campsite) and helpful staff. disagree that it;s that far to walk from... This is a beautifully situated quiet site with clean toilets and showers, quite a bit of shade, lovely gardens and a good sized attractive pool with an excellent view. We were amazed that it was not busy in mid summer when we visited. The restaurant and bar are also very good. The staff are friendly and the food at the... More

We were backpacking and found this site ideal for us. It is located out of ronda town and with backpacks and the heat it is too far to walk but for 9 Euro you can get a taxi from the bus station straight there. Carmel on reception could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had a pitch at... More
