Stayed for 7 nights during Holy Week / Easter week. Hotel is well located at the end of Puente Nuevo at the entrance to the Old Town. The hotel is small - just 12 rooms over 2 floors. Room was reasonable size and traditionally and tastefully decorated. There is a small cafe open during daytime hours for breakfast, lunch and... More

It’s a charming hotel perfectly located for visiting both the old and new parts of Ronda. The manager was extremely helpful and all the staff was very friendly. We had a large, spacious room (No.9) with a large bathroom. The complimentary slippers were appreciated as the tiled floors were cold, but sadly the bathrobes were tiny! Our only complaint was... Absolutely excellent hotel, decoration perfectly for the site, manager was super friendly and informative, we had to leave early and he did prepare our breakfast 1 hour before the restaurant open. Location is perfect!

This was our first visit to Ronda Spain and our stay at the El Poeta de Ronda Hotel was a good choice as it was located just a few meters from the bridge witch made it perfect to walk around the town. Although our room was a little noisy as we were above the road this was not to bad... More

Perfectly located a few metres from the bridge, the El Poeta is a lovely old mansion of Moorish design converted into a small hotel. Featuring a centre atrium with rooms circling the perimeter the decor reflects the period beautifully. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and I would not hesitate recommending this place to anybody.

Several months after having booked an overnight stay in this hotel we were informed that because of overbooking our reservation was cancelled! The reservation through Booking.com was garanteed by a credit card. Everyone should avoid hotels who practice overbooking, firstly to avoid problems and secondly to stamp out this type of behaviour.

we spent one day is Ronda and enjoyed very much this cute hotel! Information and service were fantastic. Not many rooms and they have very good taste for details! Location is just perfect to walk around both sides of Ronda. Good for short stays!

As a group of 18 people, we had a perfect stay. Especially the service of the staff is great, always a smile, a hello and help if we needed it (for instance bed sheets, changing beds etc). One thing that could be better is the breakfast, the variety is not exactly great (always cheese, tomatoes, one bread, some meat).

I stayed at the hotel Poeta for 2 weeks and it was the friendliest hotel I have encounter in all Andalusia . The rooms were full of charm and soul . We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. The staff were very friendly and we received personal attention. The hotel was furnished in a Moorish style with beautiful wooden balconies, paintings and chandeliers. The location was ideal for visiting the old town and we had views of the mountains from our room.
