Located by bridge and easy walking distance to gorge and old town, shopping area. Lay-by to use when arriving by car & then we were directed to a nearby car park which was easy to find & e10 per day. Owner welcomed us and was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Our party had booked 3 rooms and one couple ended up... More

The Hotel El Poeta de Ronda has a great location just downtown Ronda and the building is beautiful. However, the receptionist who was working when we arrived, couldn't be worse, and rooms even if good size, are dark and bathroom tap was flowing whole night, which was very annoying to sleep

Some of few things I didn't like: - the room had no view, maybe more quite, but still you could hear everything (specially from reception desk). If you intend to sleep during your stay this is not the place - Fridge was not working - Shower was leaking while turned off - limited selection for breafast

We stayed at Ronda for a day and night on our way to Seville. I found El Poeta on Trip and it exceeded every expectation. The place is a converted (large) town house. Just 2 minutes from the gorge and 50 mtrs from the famous bridge. We arrived and were welcomed by the owner. He directed yes to the underground... More

While the building and locations are nice, the room was heavily scented with potpourri style scent that was unbearable and the bathroom had some drainage and plumbing issues. The rooms that face the front can get noisy.

Fantastic authentic hotel in a prime location with extremely helpful and friendly staff, room was perfect and spacious.Breakfast which was served on the terrace each morning was more than adequate with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee and toasted bread and numerous cheeses and hams including Serrano. All the staff were very friendly indeed and went out of their way to help... More

Our first impression was that the hotel was in a very good location. It has an elegant, old fashioned charm - the bedroom and bathroom were attractive, although there was really no place to put toiletries, especially in the shower - you had to put them on the floor of the shower tray which was rather awkward. Breakfast was rather... More

A very pretty hotel with good rooms well situated in the Centre of Ronda. However probably the worst management outside of Fawlty Towers. The only hotel I have stayed in over 30 years of travelling where things go missing from rooms; a shrug is received when one complains; customers do not get their room cleaned if they make complaints; toilet... The city is the story here. The Hotel is nice, next to the Ronda old bridge over a spectacular canyon. Ronda is full of tourists but the site is out of this world. The Hotel is a nice House with an atrium and an eclectic decoration. The rooms are good and functional, altough the TV barely worked; wifi is OK... More

Excellent location in the historic quarter on the first corner just across the bridge over the breathtaking gorge. Has a lovely patio on the corner which serves breakfast, lunch and drinks until about 5pm, giving you a great view down to the bridge. Feels like a grand old home, which it was, with a lovely central atrium. Our room was... More
