The description on the De La Luna website is really spot on..believe what you read. This place is a mystical jungle-hippy-foodie-nature-lover's paradise. My 2 brothers and I were set up in Casa Sarasa, over the water for 3 nights. Michelle arranged for us to go spearfishing w a couple of local guys on our 2nd day. The 5 gallon bucket... More

De La Luna is an incredible place to stay, off the beaten path. Michelle, the expat who runs the place, makes the resort what it is. She's fun, quirky, hangs out with her guests, and above all, super super accommodating. She's there to make your stay memorable and will bend over backwards to make you happy. The food was delicious,... More

My wife and I spent an incredible three nights at De La Luna in September 2012. It is a tropical paradise and Michelle is an amazing hostess. We stayed in Casa Saraso on the crystal clear water. What a fantastic way to wake up every morning! We spent our days reading, lounging in the hammocks, snorkeling/swimming in the Laguna and... More

De La Luna Resort...dubbed "The Jewel Of Isla Loma Partida" is truly deserving od it's title! A most beautiful retreat where you can re-connect with yourself. Quiet yet exciting at all times. You can choose from a variety of activities including hiking the jungle trails, snorkeling the beautiful coral reefs, which BTW, are just outside your hut's door, paddling the... More

Located 30 minutes away from Bocas town on the quiet and secluded island of Loma Partida - home to a Ngobe community - De la luna is a great place for a romantic getaway. My girlfriend and I stayed there for 3 nights in July 2012 and we wished we could have stayed longer! De la luna has 5 different... More

This was absolutely the best tropical vacation ever. The food was wonderful and the accomodations were absolutely fantastic. The owner, Michelle has made her eco-friendly resort a whimsical exotic treasure in the jungle. Wonderful day trips to meet new people and enjoy the local atmosphere but plenty of privacy and tranquility if that is what you want. Highly recommended.

40mins away from Isla Colon, on a stunning boat trip through vast and tranquil Ngobe waters and mangroves stands Loma Partida. Serene vistas and calm are excited by the bizarrity that is de la Luna. It's a frank juxtaposition to the norm here and a great and unique experience to meet and be hosted by the local Ngobe residents. When... More

Swim in our coral laden waters, rich with a variety of tropical fish and the infamous red starfish! Enjoy the vista of the majestic Volcan Baru towering over the mountains across the shimmering waters of Laguna Chiriqui. Traffic is limited to dug out canoes passing quietly as the Indians paddle by. Starlit evenings are passed fireside on the beach or up in the jungle, often resulting in drum and rhythm circles. Play with the white-faced Capuchin monkey, Topo, that comes down from the jungle daily to interact with our guests ~ better than any television show, he is total entertainment!De la Luna facilitates experiences that transform lives by connecting people with the natural harmony and rhythm of life, as well as with each other.
