We stayed for one night to use this as a base for Ude Walawe National Park. We paid for a cabana but we were upgraded free of charge to one of the permanent tents. The accommodation was lovely, very clean, spacious, practical with a great bathroom with hot water. The breakfast was nice and we ate in the restaurant in... More

We stayed at Kottawatta Village for one night in a deluxe room. Very clean, spacious and with a big bathroom. We arrived early evening, and went off again early next morning, so it is difficult to say much about this place. We were the only ones eating dinner here in the evening, but we had som good food and a... More

The Eco village was a really cool experience. The rooms were like fancy tents and tastefully decorated. The village is beautiful and has a river behind it. We saw giant earthworms and monitor lizards there. We were greeted with fresh fruit juices when we arrived. We booked a safari through them which worked out well and used their driver a... More

I am only rating this hotel 'good' due to it's isolated location, however if I'm comparing it to other hotels I have stayed at in Sri Lanka, it is definitely an average hotel! The breakfast was very decent, however dinner was quite bad, so salty! The staff were very helpful which is nice. We stayed in a bungalow and it... More

We enjoyed our stay here. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The tent experience was extremely comfortable with a lovely hot shower, comfortable bed and fantastic peace and quiet - one of the best night's sleep during our stay in SL. A couple of comments - . welcome - very professional - nothing too much trouble- arrived early able... More

We stayed here for one night this week and it all started very well with a fruit juice and a good value permanent tent. Unfortunately the vegetarian curry one of us had that evening resulted in a severe case of food poisoning which plagued the rest of our trip. The staff tried to shrug this off as a viral infection... My driver booked me into this accommodation for after my safari at Udawalawe so I was checking in sight-unseen, which I don't like...but I was pleasantly surprised. He reserved me one of the two hybrid tent-bungalows, which was perfectly charming. It was clean and quiet and had all the basic amenities (fan, mosquito net) plus a couple of nice extras... More

It's the best place to stay next to the nationalpark. The hotel manager gave us lot of information about the park and the history of Sri Lanka. He also arranged a Jeep including a driver. It was one of the best hotels we stayed during our holidays. I definately recommend that place!
