Osler House has to be in the running for best bed and breakfast. A beautifully renovated and restored historic house, with very comfortable rooms, a gracious host, and breakfasts to linger over. Situated in Dundas, a pretty town a short drive from Hamilton (or convenient for the bus, the no. 5 stops outside). You may see deer on the lawn.... More

We enjoyed two nights in the beautiful, spacious and bright Sir William Osler room. The bed is large and extremely comfortable and the bathroom features a tub that is heavenly to soak in. Gary is a most gracious host, and provides lovingly and expertly prepared delicious breakfasts, the best we've ever enjoyed in a B and B: unforgettable crepes, scones,... More

So yes I am sure you are tired of gushing reviews..lol...maybe even skeptical? Fair enough but when I like others here tell you Osler house is a treasure, honestly its not hype. Pure and simple fact. Loved the fact that it as been extensively renovated an restored to its original charm. A beautiful place to stay. Quiet and charming. And... More

I loved every minute of my stay here. I honestly did not want to leave the room; the bed was so comfy, the colors warm and inviting. The Osler Room is the best, do yourself a favor and book that room. I'll be back next year and every year after that for as long as I go back to Canada... More

This place was so beautiful and comfortable, I did not want to leave my room! I stayed in two rooms; my preference going forward will be the Osler Room, unreal! Fireplace, soaker tub, just so comfy. The breakfasts were wonderful, as well. Family of beautiful deer came to the window in the morning so I could get some shots. Gary... More

Absolutely gorgeous b&b, hidden besides the trees on a small street of Dundas, secluded from traffic and vanity of everyday life. Former William Osler residence, the house was renovated yet it managed to maintain its originality and the charm of early 20th century. We just stayed for one night, but were stunned with the comfort, antique decor and overall atmosphere... More

A beautiful oasis of charm. A home which has been lovingly restored. We very much enjoyed our stay at Osler House and would certainly go back. The most comfortable bed ever (Osler Room) with some well thought out additions such as a tea set and proper tea cups in our room (and fresh milk!) which was much appreciated. A huge... More

What a find! This was a genuine home from home. I have a large granite built house from the mid 1850's that aged perfectly with Osler House. Gary was excellent and after the tour we had a chat about materia medica as Osler is recognized as one of the fathers of modern medicine. Having a son who is a surgeon... More

We only stayed one night but enjoyed very much. We chose the suite with the large soaking tub. Lovely with well appointed amenities, however I did not realize there wasn't a shower. That was ok for me but longer than one night my husband wouldn't have been amused. Our host was Gary the owner, very nice and helpful. Breakfast was... More

I was in town on business. For a change of pace decided on B&B instead of chai hotel. I was not disappointed. Gary, the Proprietor met me at the door. He couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. The house is beautiful and elegant and very comfortable. It's the perfect mix of cozy, elegance and opulence all at the same... More
