My husband and I stayed at Hat Head on a camping trip up the coast. We loved our time at Hat Head. The camping sites are very generous and it feels like you are among nature (unlike your big caravan parks with small, pegged out sites and no trees). The holiday park is perfectly located next to the beach and... More

We are so pleased you enjoyed our beautiful hideaway park. We are very proud of the area and its beautiful surroundings. The caretakers do an amazing job at keeping the grounds neat and tidy and the amenities. Beaches Restaurant at the Hat Head Bowling Club serve beautiful meals! We hope to see you again soon. More

Stayed for a week in December, on an unpowered tent site. The staff were friendly and helpful during arrival. There's a small kiosk with some essentials and treats. Only an hour's drive to the attractions at Coffs or Port Macquarie, too. We have young children. Everyone was safe. The kitchen, showers, toilets, and laundry were cleaned regularly. The children loved... More

Love it here, beautiful area, unspoilt. Its like a classic camping holiday of your childhood. Kids cruising round on bikes & skateboards, one little shop w mixed follies & fried stuff. Amazing beaches, sandy river, fantastic family spot. Attractive, treed park w direct beach & river access. Only issue is that part of the park is public access. We stayed... More

I've stayed here for a week the last 2 summers and plan to again this summer. Great location for family holidays with the river and ocean just metres away for swimming, shallow areas in the the river perfect for the smaller kids. Camping sites are large and well maintained, as are the amenities (never a queue for the showers). Great... More

We have stayed at the Hat Head Holiday Park for the past 15 years over the December / January break. If you want a generally quiet, out of the way corner of the world, Hat Head is a place well worth consideration. Facilities are limited, however the scenery is fantastic, the main beach faces north (believe it or not) so... More

If you can secure a spot on the creek, you will hear the waves crashing against the shore and in the morning, crawl out if your tent and swim in the pristine waters of the ocean creek! Awesome location, small town with some of the best fishing in Australia!
