The Castle Hotel is in the center of the Szekszárd- Kaposvar Pécs cities triangle. All three of the city is broadly 50 km from the hotel. Immediate surroundings of the hotel did not have attraction. Who does not want to make excursions, or a little of his time, he can spend his time a couple of days in wellness and... More

We spent 4 days at the estate with our two little daughters. We were in the Manor House on the first floor which is called "Étage de la famille", dedicated to families with young children. There was no elevator though for strollers. The room was spacious with laminated flooring, but it was designed in an extremely distasteful way and the... More

We had a wonderful 3 day stay and loved the place!!! Everything was at ease, we totally relaxed as if we traveled back in time to another epoch. We absolutely loved the theme park and the whole idea with performances, little gift shops and medieval workshops. The spa complex is very decent, the rooms clean and romantic (even though it was... We stayed in the Hotel as a couple in a Guest House. The first impression at the reception was excellent. The lady (Renata) was really helpful and friendly with excellent customer service. BUT when we entered in our room all the positve feelings changed to negative. Dust everywhere for example: picture frames, glasses on the table, on the carpet in... More

We did not stay in the hotel, I decided to write the review after having received the quotation from the hotel. As a family, we would only have been allowed to stay in one particular floor of one particular building (with a very fake french styled interior, whether we liked it or not) and in addition we would not have... Imagine a big park in the center of a village. How you can use it ? This is, maybe, the story of this hotel. They used European money to transform this big domain in a relaxing place, with few buildings decorated in different styles, with a little Moroccan & French spa with thermal water, a giant restaurant, organised tournaments with... ONLY FOR FAMILIES WITH LITTLE KIDS The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere so if you want to be entertained there aren't too many options outside the estate - which is surprisingly large and growing. The whole thing is some kind of a theme park dedicated to the medieval period. The design of the rooms and the interior... More

Stayed there in September, 2013. Basicly everything was all right, the spa was OK. BUT, some very disturbing thing: bed linen in the castle standard suit was horrible (small and knotty pillows, and so on). They've introduced a so called "knight dinner", the worst dinner I've ever had in a hotel, fatty overcooked meat. When we left, we were charged... More
