This Queen's Birthday long weekend our hobby games club, Ministry of Game, held their annual Weekend Away at Clarendon Forest Retreat. The whole point of our weekend is to have fun, play games together, and relax. Booking out six of their beautiful cottages and utilising their conference facilities, we made the most of the incredibly relaxing environment. Management were incredibly... More

We stayed in the chapel cottage for 2 nights & loved it. Wendy & Peter are extremely friendly & helpful. The view from the cottage is lovely, very beautiful place to stay with many facilities including spa (in chapel), pool, tennis courts & mini DVD, book & game library for guest use. Good self contained kitchen, no need to bring... More

We stayed in the Sanctuary, such a beautiful cottage! We spent most of our time in the indoor spa! Clarendon is such a peaceful place with beautiful scenery. We loved the daily visits from the wallabies and can't wait to come back in winter to enjoy the fireplace! Perfect place to relax and get back to nature!

What a pleasant surprise! Tara lodge is HUGE. Boasting 4 double bedrooms [although we only used 3]; the layout is modern and spacious with clean lines & vaulted ceilings. Very much in contrast to the other properties at CFR which are more Australiana & homely. 3 couples shared a weekend away, preparing meals in the huge gourmet kitchen with all... More

We had the pleasure of staying in The Sanctuary cottage for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The view from the cottage, the serenity of the surrounding bushland and the warm hospitality of our hosts all contributed to a great stay. We sat out on the deck for dinner both nights listening to the native birds and watching the wallabies... More

Great spot to get away from it all, but also with things to do including tennis, walking, mountain biking... We stayed in The Sanctuary which was very romantic. Excellent help from the hosts when required. We will be returning!

We stayed in The Hideaway for 2 nights just after New Years. The cottage was lovely! The spa, even better! We packed up the esky so we didn't have to leave the whole time we were there. We relaxed inside (no air con but surprising cool for beginning of January and there was a ceiling fan). The cicada's were crazy... More

Having stayed at Clarendon Forest Retreat for 5 nights recently I have to say it was the most tranquil setting which was perfect for what was needed. The managers, Peter & Wendy Dorahy, were welcoming & ensured our stay was pleasant & peaceful. There is lots or little to do based on what you want from your experience. It is... More
