Ela Mesa Hotel is a great place to go no matter if you've got a craving for the traditional Greek dishes, a swim in a fine swimming pool or you need a place to sleep whilst on Aegina. In terms of food, I would encourage you to remember to try out Zaganaki, the owner's own olives and whatever they might... More

What a week? Early morning swimming in the wonderful pool, breakfast with Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries and local honey. Touring the island and back for a nice dinner with fresh fish, good wine, etc. And not to forget all the nice people there! The best place for a break away from stressing Copenhagen!

The hotel, room and pool were spotlessly clean, the food was good and the staff all very nice and helpful. We couldn't fault it in any way and we can recommend it to everybody. We hired a car from Aegina and think this is the best way to get about the island.

A friend recommended Ela Mesa and we were delighted with our stay there for 4 days. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Great view of the gulf from our balcony. A pity it was too early in the season for a swim in the beautiful pool.

2 weeks at the end of the season and Thrasso and his staff in particular Ursula made us very welcome. Very clean and well run hotel with an excellent restaurant. Fresh fish a delight especially the Calamari caught fresh by the proprietor. Nothing is to much trouble and Thrasso will go out of his way to assist.

This place is friendly, clean, and beautiful! They picked us up from the docks. It was very kids friendly. The room had a small kitchen and sink. They included a free baby cot. Very very clean. What ever you need, they will do their best to accommodate you! We had such a great time that we stayed an extra day.... More

We visited Ela Mesa in week 40. It is a very lovely hotel with a perfect view to the sea from the rooms at first and second floor. The breakfast is very nice with several kinds of bread, cakes, cheeses, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea all served on a buffet. Thrassos, his wife Despina and Ursula,... My wife and i spent 5 nights at Ela Mesa in early October and had a fantastic time. Thrassos and Despina make you feel extremely welcome and are always available to help out to make your stay better if they can. If you haven't got a rental car you'll need to take a taxi to Souvala, which is €11 and... More

The hotel is conveniently close to the harbour of Souvala. The rooms are quit and clean. Not too big but big enough. Breakfast is nicely varied with fruit, yoghurt, pasteries and bread. Swimmingpool is of a good size and nice and clean.
