We booked a night for the two of us at quite short notice on our way back from Spain. Wanted to see Carcassonne and relax a bit. This place is a slice of heaven and we were very warmly welcomed by Mme Remy. This is a really chic hotel that the Remy family has lovingly restored and it now offers... More

This is a few minutes drive from the Carcassone Cite, and well placed for exploring the surrounding countryside. The hotel itself is very traditionally French, spacious and comfortable. It has lovely grounds (including a nice outdoor pool). Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant next door was excellent.

We were a group of 4 couples visiting from Australia on a 5 week holiday, and we all agreed this was our favourite hotel of our trip. Mme Remy was so welcoming even though we arrived early and she happily stowed our luggage so we could go exploring until our rooms were ready. She very wisely suggested we go into... More

It was a great location to visit Carcassone while being peaceful and away from touristy stuff. The room was lovely. You could have access to hot drinks in the breakfast room all day. The pool was great. Breakfast was good with a good selection. We had dinner at the restaurant next door which was lovely. If you do this, do... More

Nice relaxed atmosphere with staff who were keen to promote an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Room had been renovated beautifully and was very comfortable. Nice touch that you could help yourself to as much luxury coffee as you liked throughout the day. Tidy pool area and good restaurant attached to hotel. Not a great deal to do beyond chilling out... Ideal to visit Carcassonne; about ten minutes or so from the walled city. The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and fun to talk to. It's located in a quiet area just outside of town. The hotel had made us reservations at the adjoining restaurant, which was extremely good. Ask them to get you a reservation... More

Having stayed inside the walled city of Carcassonne a couple of times previously my wife and I opted for a hotel just outside the city this time. It's hard to define this hotel but if you are looking to be fussed over and have all sorts of amenities then maybe it's not for you. Alternatively if you like the idea... More

We had one of the cheaper rooms which, although small was well furnished with everything working properly. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was effective. Also, the sound insulation was good. All this led to a good sleeping experience. The shower (with both conventional head and rain shower) was excellent, although no hand soap was provided in... More

Stayed here for the last night of our tour around the region. Stunning location, lovely friendly staff, relaxing by the pool, reading in the library, delicious breakfast in the gardens, superb restaurant next door and a great little restaurant in town a short walk away as a nice alternative. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay for visiting Carcasonne. Very relaxing beautiful Chateau in the countryside and we had a lovely buffet breakfast.. Rooms were beautiful with extremely comfortable beds and lovely duvets and pillows. Could have done with a mirror in a better light as there were three mirrors in the bathroom and the lighting was very nice but dimmed... More
