Yes, we would like to return to De Gouden Molen. First of all because of the superb restaurant and the nice staff, but then also for the quiet location. The hotel facilities are all right though. Rooms are nice and clean, however, to get up the steep stairs to the 1st floor with a pair of travel suitcases was not exactly... More

This is a friendly family hotel, professionally run on the banks of the River Waal, commanding fine views and in an ideal location for keen cyclists. Greeted on arrival by the owner who, despite being busy serving dinner, took time to show us to our garden-facing room to explain everything (spoke Dutch but must speak English, I'm sure). Comfy room... More

First rate experience - both the hotel and the restaurant. Very interesting peaceful location, parking right outside, friendly staff, warm welcoming ambience and excellent kitchen (both dinner and breakfast). What more could you ask for?

Excellent Hotel. All you need, lot of nature around the Hotel, excellent restaurant. The only issue is very often fully booked. Very friendly atmosphere and you will feel comfortable from the minute you enter the reception.

This hotel is set in a beautiful area. S-Hertogenbosch is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and Steff goes out of his way to help. Reasonable breakfast and very tastey lunches. I did not have dinner but the restaurant is fab and i believe the best in the area for dinner. The rooms are average... More

"De Gouden Molen" has an idyllic location at the Waal river, where the reinforced dyke now prevents that you would have a panoramic view of Netherlands' largest river. To get that view, you just have to get up from the terrace and climb to the top of the dyke on which the restaurant is located. The restaurant has recently been... More
